Robert John Peters, II
1932 - 2024
Robert J. Peters II of Trumbull, formerly of Bridgeport, passed away on Saturday, April 13, 2024, peacefully surrounded by his family. Robert spent twelve years of Active US Army Reserve, retiring in 2002 as an MSGT.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Jean R. Peters, his two sons, Robert E. Peters, and Craig Peters, and his three grandchildren, Matthew, Colleen, and Jacob Peters. He was predeceased by his half-brother, Robert F. Peters, and is also survived by his half-brothers Thomas and Charlie Peters, as well as his sisters-in law, Carol and Beverly.
During his industrial career, Robert served as a Western Electric telephone central office installer, an electronic technician for Manson Labs, and in engineering applications for Vectron Industries. During his retirement, Robert proudly worked for the IATSE as a stagehand, and crew chief for the Klein Memorial Auditorium in Bridgeport.
Donations can be made to The Shriner's Children's Hospital or the Robert J. Peters St. Jude Memorial Fund online.
