More languages for Subtitles from Audio

I was excited when I hear that DaVinci Resolve now supports automatic subtitles from audio, but that excitement went away a little bit when I saw that only supports English.

Most of my client work is in Spanish so right now it isn't useful for me. Hope in the next updates you add at least five of the most spoken languages in the world. One of them is Spanish.

TBF to the Blackmagic Team, on early testing the English language model they've used is incredible, it's by far the most accurate one I've used yet, but these things do take time to roll out, it's a completely new feature that has the potential to change how a lot of users edit within Resolve and so it needs to be taken slowly.

Multi-lingual support will come, I'm sure we'll see some additional models added in the near future.

haha too common of an issue here. I live in a country with a language that is internationally forgotten and has terrible language models. Icelandic. Only 350.000 people live here. Beautiful place to live, but tech wise its tricky. It's a better in my home country, Norway, but that too is late in the spoken language priority list. Especially since there are many distinct dialects that is hard for language AI to get right.

Nothing to do other than sit, hope and wait.

More languages for this feature would be great.
I'm working mostly with german clients, so the addition of support for German would be fantastic.
The feature itself ist really great and works even better than Premiere Pro for me because I only use Premiere to export the subtitles to use them in Resolve.

Hey so far it's managed to perfectly transcribe 30mins of English with a Northern Irish accent for me, which I consider a minor miracle! :D

Kindly add "Hindi" language for auto caption and sub-titles as so many people from Southern Asia uses Da Vinci Resolve and it will be really beneficial for so many community members!

I remember feeling the same when I had a project in Bulgarian – definitely not one of the mainstream languages for auto-subtitling tools. I was nearly pulling my hair out!

Since then, I have been working with one of the best subtitling agencies. They whipped up the subtitles in just a few hours, and the accuracy was on point. It might be worth exploring options like this while waiting for software updates to catch up with our needs. Hope they expand the language offerings soon!

Please add czech language. Today I bought studio just because of subtitles functionality without knowing that it can make it done in my language :/. If I knew I would not buy it at all. I would be fine with free version for my purposes. I wanted to make all my edits in one software. So please again, add czech language so I dont have to pitty about buying it.

Capcut have it in Malay language even for free users. Malay language is different than Indonesia. Please let me know how can I contribute to add this language to DR Studio.
