She married Wilhelm V "The Victorious", Herzog von Braunschweig-Lüneburg in 1565. They were the parents of at least 7 sons and 8 daughters. She died on 6 January 1617, in Winsen, Winsen (Aller), Celle, Lower Saxony, Germany, at the age of 70, and was buried in Celle, Lower Saxony, Germany.
