THE LEADERS
Jack Pistner (Ellicott City, Md./Centennial) led the Bullets with six hits, five RBIs and five runs scored in the doubleheader. His day included a home run, double and two triples.
Alexey Stout (Wall, N.J./Christian Brothers Academy) Had a three-hit opener while Adam Hicks (Edgewater, Md./Gilman School) rapped out three hits in the nightcap.

FOR THE FOES
• Drew Kinsey led the Shoremen with four hits, two RBIs and three runs scored on the afternoon.

THE REST OF THE STORY
• In game one, David Preziuso (Shelbyville, Del./Caravel Academy) reached on an error to lead off the home first before a two-out Jack Pistner home run just inside the right-field foul pole staked Gettysburg to an early 2-0 lead.
Alexey Stout started the second with a double before moving to third on a Robert Murphy (Berkeley Heights, N.J./Governor Livingston) bunt single. After a walk loaded the bases, Washington traded two for one, turning the double play while Stout scored to push the lead to 3-0.
• A fielding error, single and Zack Stolze double in the fourth cut the deficit to 3-1 before Chase Ruppel kept a ball inside the left-field foul pole for a three-run dinger and 4-3 lead.
• A Logan Yi home run in the top of the eight pushed the advantage to 5-3 before a Jack Pistner two-out single and Tristan Neels (San Diego, Calif./Francis W. Palmer) RBI ground returned the deficit to one in the bottom of the frame.
• Stout led off the ninth with a double before a Murphy single put runner at the corners. An Emmanuel Ajewole (Floral Park, N.Y./Stony Brook School) pinch-hit single up the middle scored Stout to tie the game. After a sacrifice bunt, an intentional walk to Preziuso loaded the bases for Jack Burke (Montclair, N.J./Montclair), who drew a five-pitch walk against a five-man infield to win the game.
• In game two, Will Turner drew a one-out walk before a two-out walk to Kinsey and a Stolze single staked Washington to a 1-0 lead.
• With one out in the home first, Burke beat out an infield single before scoring on a Pistner double to center. A two-out error scored Pistner for a 2-1 lead.
• Peter Kokinis led off the second with a single up the middle before an Alex Dardaris double put runners at second and third. After a sacrifice tied the game, a Ty Everitt RBI groundout put the Shoremen back in front by one.
• A two-run Kinsey home run keyed a four-run third the stretched the lead to 7-2 before Washington tacked on another run in the fifth on a Kokonis triple and Dardaris single.
• A Pistner leadoff triple in the sixth followed by a Kody Clausius (Landenberg, Pa./Avon Grove) sacrifice fly cut the deficit to 8-3.
• A Kinsey single and Stolze home run in the seventh stretched the lead to 10-3 before a walk, fielder's choice and Burke double put runners at second and third in the bottom of the inning. A  passed ball scored Preziuso to make it 10-4 and Pistner followed with an RBI single to make it 10-5.
• A single, fielding error and sacrifice fly in the top of the eighth stretched the lead to six.
• A fielding error allowed Stout to reach in the bottom of the frame and started an inning that saw 12 Bullets come to the plate. Hicks followed with a single before pinch-hitter Dylan Ed (Gettysburg, Pa./Gettysburg Area) was hit by a pitch to load the bases. Murphy then roped a triple to the fence in right field to clear the bases and make it a three-run game. Preziuso sent a double down the line before a Pistner singled with one out to cut the deficit to 11-10. A two-out hit by pitch followed by a Stout single through the left side tied the game. Hicks then came up with a high chopper through the left side to score Neels and Stout for a 13-11 lead and the comeback win.

THE INSIDE STORY
• In addition to Alexey Stout's three hits in game one, Jack Pistner and Robert Murphy had two knocks each.
Brendan Trotta (Manhasset, N.Y./Manhasset) picked up the win with four innings of relief work on the mound. He allowed just one run while striking out five.
• Pistner went 4-for-4 in game two while Adam Hicks and Jack Burke added three hits each as part of a 14-hit attack.
Anthony Dadio (Seymour, Conn./Berkshire School) snagged the win out of the pen while Tyler Lizell (Upper Dublin, Pa./Upper Dublin) worked around a one-out walk in the ninth for his fifth save of the year.
