The Hard Rock Punta Cana was a great experience. I went for a wedding in March and the service and attention was superb. I enjoyed every aspect of my stay.
The only drawback is the enormity of the property so bring comfortable shoes!
And you can't swim in the ocean. But those are two small things when compared with the great experience.
The best thing about the Hard Rock Punta Cana is the staff! Dominicans are the Best! and coupled with the excellence of the Hard Rock chain--Magic!

Just got home from Hard Rock Punta Cana, we had an excellent time! Beautiful beach, Great food, Friendly staff! The staff went out of their way to please us! Restaurants were great, Zen, Toro, Ipanema,& Los Gallos were excellent! We would definitely go back here. My only complaint is the nightlife.Wish they had more live bands! Rooms were spotless too!

Visited this resourt as a part of employee reward trip (no kids). It was my 6th time in Punta cana and not the first time in 5 start resourt. This place amazed me! Gorgeous facilities, rooms, lost count of pools and restaurants. The rooms are simply stunning! First time ever in a hotel I slept like a baby each night. It is really super-inclusive - free full bar in the rooms, free calls to canada and US, unlimited towels around beach and pools (you do not have to exchange for a card and guard your towel in fear of lost fee), no limits on a la carte restaurants and no reservation needed. The quality of food is very good, for breakfast and lunch I prefered the flexibility of buffets or pool side burger grill. Evenings visited various restaurants. The beach is very clean and beautifull, but water was a bit rough (if you walk about 15 minutes on the beach the water is much calmer on any day). We were a big group so we were too busy to see the nightly shows, I saw only one - Tribute to Michael jackson and it was amazing! visited gym once and it was very clean with friendly staff and various equipment. Zumba class dissapointed me a bit, but then I have very high standards for Zumba. I had a little accident during my stay - burned my feet on the hot pavement around the pool while dancing - so i had a chance to visit the on-site doctor! I got a full check up by a very friendly young doctor, and got an injection and a cream. I was able to dance the next day! The resort has big kids club, arcade room, kids pool etc, but due to the size of the resourt (huuuuge) I would more recommend this place for business, couples, and group of friends type of trip. I am not sure abotu the price of the stay a the trip was paid for by my employer, but you definitelly get your money worth!

AWESOME!!!!! One of the best hotels we have ever been. thanks a lot to Kenia de Los Santos at costumer service. She made our stay one of the best ever. Thanks to all the waiters, specially Lucas, at the Cafetto, the waiters at Ipanema, La Isla, Japnese Restaurant.
All the personnel is so nice and efficient. They always have a smile and are willing to help you in everything you need. We loved our stay. The food is amazing, the rooms are very clean, the hotel is big and beautiful. But what makes is great are all the people that works there.
Thanks for giving us of the best vacations my family and I have had.

We stayed (10 people) for 1 week and we loved the Spa. The hotel is not close to any town so we did not have the experience to know the local lifestyle. If you don't make the reservation for the resort point activities when you arrive there will be none available. The infraestructure to go to Saona is very poor.

Christmas Gift 2014. A 'Repeat' of our 2013 trip with our family to the Hard Rock & Casino Punta Cana. 13 of us went for Spring Break March 2014. It was a hard time for me, the mom, sister of all who traveled as our mother, grandmother passed away and was to join us on this vacation. With this being said let me tell you we had the best time, one I can say I very much needed. We have been at this resort many times in the past, being the first day it was open to the public. And, we will continue to frequent this resort for years to come. Why? Go check it out for yourself. The staff has become like family to us. The owners, you know who you are, my buddies and friends Stefano, Janett, Verenise totally blew myself and family away. This meant the world to me. Felix, Chocolate and the many staff members who make your ever moment enjoyable from morning till night makes this resort a little piece of heaven. So, why do we go back so often. The resort, weather, pools, beach, ocean, rooms, food, activities, variety of food (some better than the states) makes this resort a 10 in my book. We had 13 family members and if you knew our family you'd be biting your lip, however, we all got along. We did everything together without any regrets. We laughed more this trip than any other. Our pictures truly ROCK and if it weren't for this beautiful resort, the ease of planning or the staff we would go elsewhere. I miss my second family and home. I miss everything about this resort and trip. I want my chocolate chip ice cream/waffle cone. I want to do my laps in the pool. I want my 80 minute massage. I will start off by saying I loved the Dominican Republic, the beaches, and the overall beauty.
However, I would never return to this hotel.
For the star rating I expect a much higher customer service experience.
We had a couple issues with our room (broken door, loud noise and mosquitoes due to no door weather stripping). When I brought up the issues to the front desk, and asked for another room, I was given a lot of excuses as to why they did not have a new room for me.
Then my husband and I met with a "Travel Planner" to book some excursions to use our Resort Credit. Unfortunately this was met with major resistance, and "everything was booked". We were not able to use our Credits on any of the excursions they promoted and the Planners were terrible to deal with- Rude & Unhelpful.
Only after I reached out to my travel agent in the US, and they called to the manager at the HRPC did the hotel make any effort, and moving my room two full days later. *Shout Out to Casto Travel!
I can be flexible and very forgiving of imperfect conditions, if I feel like the workers are doing everything possible to make it right. I feel like anyone that works in the hotel industry should be focused on customer service. Unfortunately, there were many people working at the HRPC that did not agree. I was VERY DISAPPOINTED and I will not be returning, or sending any referrals.
However, I would never return to this hotel.

This was my very first time at an all-inclusive resort and to the Dom. Republic. Sixty-two of us come April 6th to 13th, 2014 for a destination wedding and had a great time. The property is stunning and very well maintained. It is huge and takes a day or so to get acquainted with but, when you figure it out, it’s terrific. The shuttle runs regularly so that you don’t have to walk too far if you don’t want to or aren’t able to. I’d read reviews of this hotel before I went and I didn’t experience any of the negative things that some had written previously. My room was terrific and kept very clean; the fridge was stocked each day and I found the staff to be helpful, kind and I thought fun. Yes there was a language barrier at times but somehow we always made it work. The Japanese restaurant was my favourite. Finally, and most importantly for me, I’m an older woman who likes to work out. On the day I arrived I checked out the Body Rock Fitness Centre and met Pasqual, the Fitness Instructor – he’s amazing and a tremendous asset to the Hard Rock Hotel. I worked out every morning at 7 a.m. and Pasqual always helped me figure out the machines and corrected my form when necessary when doing other exercises. My sincere thanks and regards to Pasqual who was so kind to me - he's a great guy. I hope to be back again.

sometimes fails during the night. If you are a casino player this one will let you breathless. The rooms coudnt be better and the employees and the staff are always happy to help you. The restaurants are "good" but the quality of the food is not good as you expect. But in other hand the food you order at room service is very good. The best is the lobby-mini mall with 24 hrs air conditioning! One of the things i dont like of these kind of super structure beach resorts is that they are huge big and you must walk for minutes and minutes to move inside the hotel.

Not a fan of loud music at the noisy restaurants that are in the main building. The other restaurants along the beach were much more enjoyable. Service was generally pretty good. Isla was by far the best restaurant in terms of atmosphere and service. One waiter in particular, Juan Tavarez, made us feel extremely welcome and part of the 'family'. He provided great service and was very entertaining and friendly.
Spa facilities and workout facility are top notch, as are the pools, beach, and, of course, the weather.

we went with family and had four different rooms in September. No complaints about a/c in rooms. a couple of the restaurants were a bit chilly, but not unbearable.

Then negotiate to just get all picks on digital drive or sent electronically so you can process yourself later.
They will $500 ish for all pics. Should be able to negotiate down to $300. Can try to negotiate first to get your business. Or negotiate after they’ve already invested their time and energy into this photo shoot which can take a couple of hours
