dont have time for this kinda campy fan nonsense anymore but if youll watch a movie just for daniel roebuck as "mook" this polyester atom-age kitsch stumbles on some accidentally stimulating textures and tones here & there, even if cult movie tv* heads'll recognize the shows cheery, loungey theme ruining any scenes that threaten to break free of mst3k host-segmentcore. ive watched enough lazy surfrock bowling shirts & fishbowl'd gorilla suits shot on vhs to last a while* even if i feel a pang of my own nostalgia at the same ol gen x tikihead monsterkids circling the pre-obama cultural drain before succumbing to facebook & the mandalorian

I was looking for something in the Psychotronic room at my video store the other day and my wife was with me and randomly picked up this movie when she spotted it on the shelf, which is how I came across this silly little movie. Idk where letterboxd got a 99 minute runtime for this, because it's only 48 minutes.
The first bit of the film drags a little because they explain things too much. Sure, there are some humorous moments within all of this, but some of it kind of lands while a lot of falls flat. Luckily, with it being a short movie, it doesn't take long to move the "plot" along.
