Dedicated to Jeff Becerra.

The cover art for this release was from respected scene figure Kristian Wåhlin (Kristian Wåhlin), the first design which in turn led to the artist's work appearing on all of Dissection's releases.

A special edition was released in April 1991, as a tribute to Dead of Mayhem. Cover art by Dead (R.I.P). It allegedly includes a bonus-track, a cover of a Carnage track. However, this cover is not listed on the artwork of the second edition, so it might be just a rumour.

Recording information:

Recorded in December 14th-15th, 1990 at Strömstad Studios.
Mixed in February 18th, 1991.
