A 45-year-old woman has been arrested after admitting to her involvement in the shooting death of a Northern California businessman and police volunteer, Sonora police said.Cheryl Lucero, of Twain Harte, is accused in the slaying of Ricky Roberts, who was found dead inside his auto body shop in February.Sonora businessman, police volunteer, found shot to death inside shopOn Thursday, officers served a search warrant at Lucero’s residence in Twain Harte, where items of evidence were seized, police said.The items have been submitted to the California Department of Justice for forensic analysis. The homicide was the city's first in 13 years.Lucero was arraigned on murder charges Friday afternoon. She will remain in custody on $1 million bond. Her next court appearance is set for July 9.
