Very good Italian food. The Classics as well as the Signature entrees were delicious. Decor was classic Italian. Wait staff was v knowledgeable and friendly. We really like the lamb rigatoni and the lamb shank entrees. The menu has many selections. We will return to Capeo very soon.

Dined here in late December. This is a traditional Italian restaurant in North Little Rock. (If you eat early enough--and quickly enough--you can take the streetcar to and from downtown to the restaurant on a weeknight. Otherwise, you have to contend with parking, which can be tough when it's busy.) The service was friendly and prompt, and the food is excellent. The octopus appetizer, the pork chop, and the papparadelle alla capeo were standouts. the wine list is solid (but could perhaps use a little more imagination), but the aperitivo selection more than compensates. Overall, a great meal.

We had a wonderful meal here on a busy Saturday night. The wait staff was wonderful! Parking was a bit tricky but that’s expected at a downtown restaurant.

Three of us celebrated a birthday at Capeo last night. We all ordered the delicious linguine with clams and were not disappointed. Fresh and plentiful clams and just-right cooked linguine. Great service from Colton.

I have eaten here many times and always count on Capeo for an excellent meal. Very good wine list and authentic Italian food.

Is it the place of the waitress to correct the pronunciation of the wine variety by the customer? Otherwise the food was excellent.

The atmosphere was lovely... day or night, lunch or dinner. We were looking for calamari. It was excellent, decided to stay for dinner. Try the Veal Capeo, it's delicious and not overly priced... given today's economy. The Italian bread was more of a Basil and herb Italian loaf, a little dense but delicious. I would have preferred an Italian herb and garlic dipping oil. Didn't ask, but pretty sure they would have provided it along with the fresh butter. Will go again. Loblolly ice cream is across the street (hint) not that Italian desserts aren't special, just sayin'.

The food was authentic and amazing! Flavors were intense and we strongly recommend the Caesar salad and Carbonero. Her friend Scott the eggplant and chicken Parmesan both were amazing. We strongly recommend reservations. It was at by 5:30 was full. Significant local favorites.

Loved our experience here and just made reservation to go back before leaving Little Rock. Had the fish special prepared beautifully and cooked to perfection. So many things I would have tried. Caesar salad was a bit too anchovy for me but my husband loved it. We actually split it. Good wine by the glass list. Tip: go to the wine bar across the street called Crush. Cute Main Street to walk. Parking no problem.

The staff at Capeo wants to provide a fine dining experience. The decor and the ingredients lay a good foundation but the food and the cooks do not cooperate.

Dined here for the first time in a couple of years. Previous visits were always very good, but not this time. Our waitress was very nice, but the service was painfully slow. We were able to place our order fairly quickly after sitting down, but after 45 minutes we had not even gotten our salads. In that whole time our waitress never said anything to us about the status of our order, so I finally got her attention to let her know we were still waiting for our food, and that we had not even gotten our salads. Barely one minute passed and the salads arrived. Another 25 minutes passed before we got our entrees. My wife enjoyed her spaghetti carbonara, but my papparedelle alla capeo was very disappointing. It was supposed to contain mushrooms, eggplant, bacon, olives, artichoke hearts, and peppers, but I was hard pressed to find or taste any of those ingredients. It was basically pasta and tomato sauce. So, all in all a very be disappointing visit.

I'm giving this an overall "very good" because of the service and atmosphere, not the food. Service was very good. The atmosphere is charming with high ceilings and interior brick with ghost signs that once were advertisements on the outsides of buildings now incorporated inside one of the rooms. The menu seemed promising for someone who usually eats only plant-based whole food. This place was a compromise since my family members are not on any special eating plan. Anyway, fried sage leaves were not delicately fried, were dripping with oil and too salty. Couldn't taste the sage. I have had fried parsley in another city and I know this can be done well. We traded sips of soup and all agreed, even my salt-loving mother, that salt overpowered both the tomato gorgonzola and wild mushroom soups. I could not taste the Gorgonzola at all. Why use it if the blue cheese taste doesn't come through? My brother loved his linguine in clam sauce with the little clams, and my mother enjoyed her baked rigatoni. My dish of tagliatelle with porcini and a hint of truffle oil was very buttery and salty. I guess some diners wouldn't mind food swimming in butter. My brother's after-dinner coffee with liqueurs made his eyes roll back with delight. We shared the almond torte, and that was the highlight of the evening for me since it is flourless. For me it would have been even better if they had put the caramel sauce in just an artistic drizzle on the plate instead of all over the top. The fresh house-made bread was really good, all agreed. I was glad to read on the menu that everything is made from scratch in house and from locally sourced ingredients whenever possible. Good for them! In conclusion, I'll bet most Americans will love this place. I learned a lesson about sticking to my eating plan and restaurants with health food as the centerpiece.

Took an hour to get our food. I had to send mine back as it was not cooked Leathery lasagne noodles. The took it back and it was okay the second time but defiantly not worth the long wait I understand service being super slow as help is hard to find but the food should have been cooked correctly in the kitchen
