Hi, I would like to confirm that does Malwarebytes still offer lifetime license? For your information, in asia we have Shopee platform where one of the seller sells the lifetime license. I thought it was legit and purchased it, able to activate with the given id. I have come into a problem as I need to reset my PC, so I deactivate the given license from the Shopee seller and would like to reactivate again but unable to.

Dude you got scam; Malwarebytes support won't help you with that! MB stop selling lifetime licenses years ago.... I wouldn't even bother to contact them regarding your issue because not only they don't sell lifetime licenses any more but they will tell you that you got the licenses from an unauthorized reseller. I bought two lifetime licenses years ago I used one and the other one because it was inactive they disabled it even though it was attached to my account which I have access to it and I can do nothing about it cause they will ask me for proof of purchased which I don’t have any more… how fair is that?
Hmm that's sad. I'm just wondering if Malwarebytes would take an action for this unauthorized reseller. The screenshot I shared managed to sell 1400units. I don't know how he managed that.
Yep they deactivated both of my legitimately purchased keys from legitimate sources as well and refuse support due to the long ago proof of purchase and long since lost email address. I can no longer recommend this company.
I just worked with a MB rep- I after providing addresses and a receipt for purchase from newegg and the original ID/key they gave me a new lifetime key registerable on their website. Took a bit (about 2 weeks) to work through their customer service department but not an unreasonable experience from my end.
So YMMV for anyone still reading this thread with the old legacy lifetime keys.

Not that I'm aware. Malwarebytes isn't alone in offering a lifetime license at first and withdrawing additional sales after they are established. Abode security did something similar.
We no longer offer lifetime licenses and while we do have legitimate resellers, our last lifetime offer was in 2014 which means anyone still selling them is not legitimate. If you can provide me the link to the purchase page you used (PM please) then I can see about forwarding this to our teams to investigate.
Unfortunately, with the way lifetime licenses work, they probably resold the license to multiple people and it's been flagged for abuse, hence why you can no longer activate. I'd recommend reaching out to the company you purchased from for a refund.

As I'm looking for a legitimage resallers comaring prices, i saw several shops selling lifetime licenses. And because i saw nothing about a lifetime license on the homepase, I was a bit curious and looking quite long to find this post.

Was Amazon (sold and shipped by amazon) an authorized reseller? That's how I bought mine in 2014, but now even on the exact same PC since then, I updated the program, and now it says the Key and ID is not valid. :(

No. MB's support said all current "lifetime" sellers are unauthorized.
