The largest airline in Europe, Frankfurt-based Lufthansa (LH) flies non-stop to about 215 destinations. This includes 18 points within Germany, as well as 78 countries within Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia, the Middle East, North America, the Caribbean and South America. The airline's aircraft have a variety of one-cabin and four-cabin configurations that can include First Class, Business Class, Premium Economy Class and Economy Class. Totally incompetent customer service and support. No responses, several attempts to contact without any reactions. Total non-compliance with customers and the company's obligations. No officials or representatives at the relevant airports during the trip (or they probably prefer not to identify themselves?). No worries or concerns in satisfying customer requests No respect for “Star Alliance” member status Misleading information on the site when purchasing tickets Round trip with 6 flight sections and only problems. No worries about losing 3 days out of a 14 day trip, no worries or preoccupation on the part of Lufthansa if you have to change and rearrange an entire trip. They are careful not to respond or react before the departure dates, and on the phone, you are never in the right department or with the right person, no line transfer is possible..etc.. Prepare yourself to have to organize yourself or resolve any problems on your own because there is clearly a particular willingness to let you find your own solutions. Flying from Munich to Los Angeles in Business Class, ONE passenger kept her shade open for the ENTIRE 12-HOUR FLIGHT! Multiple passengers, including myself, approached the flight staff because we couldn’t see our monitors (glare) or rest for the entire flight because the sun was shining into the cabin 100% of the time. After filing an official complaint stating that I spent thousands of dollars on tickets for myself and my mother (her birthday), I was offered $25.00. Additionally, the Lufthansa staff lost the basket to my mother’s mobility walker and then ignored my written request to get it back. I expected more for a Business Class flight and from Lufthansa.…

Not just the worst airline I’ve ever encountered, but the worst customer service I’ve ever encountered! Booked flights for 5 to travel from Dublin to Munich in Feb 25. They cancelled my booking, claim I did it myself and refuse to prove me with a full refund. They have taken over £700 from me and refuse to provide any evidence that I cancelled my own booking (there isn’t any). Seems like a scam to me. Customer service don’t care, takes weeks to get an email response and agent hung up on me. Avoid at all costs!…

The kosher meal was disgusting. The flight attendant was very apologetic as was the chief purser. I contacted Lufthansa 5 days ago. I received a reply a day later but the reply had no relevance to my complaint. Also, part of one paragraph was not there. The statement was left in the air. I contacted them again the same day and am still waiting for a reply. Another email was also ignored…

The Paris check-in Agent (manager sitting at the first class desk) was probably the worst agent and should be fired for being the rudest and the most vindictive agent I have come across. I spend approximately 1/3 to 1/2 a year traveling and I have never in my entire life encountered such bad customer service experience. This agent was so vindictive that she called the gate agent as she was helping me with my flight to tell her not to help me. She must have a camera because just as I got there, the agent’s phone rang and specifically The check-in agent at the Paris CDG first-class desk, who was the manager, provided the worst customer service I have ever encountered. This agent should be dismissed for her rudeness and vindictiveness. I travel approximately 1/3 to 1/2 of the year, and I have never experienced such poor service. This agent was so vindictive that she called the gate agent to instruct her not to assist me. As I arrived at the gate, the agent's phone rang, and I distinctly heard her say, "the American!" People often say that the French dislike Americans, but this was on another level—it was absolutely racist. Additionally, they refused to provide the names of the rude agents, which helps them avoid accountability. I will escalate this issue to upper management because this behavior should not be tolerated, and others should not suffer due to their incompetence. This experience was worse than with budget airlines. Lufthansa is not a first-class airline. The gate personnel initially tried to assist until the manager called her, after which she also became unhelpful. Avoid this airline. I will not spend another cent with Lufthansa unless they take action against the manager at the Paris CDG first-class check-in counter who worked on 23/05/2024 at 11:00 am.…
