Lucas Beraldo began his football career in 2016 for União Barbarense before moving to fellow São Paulo-based side XV de Piracicaba a year later and then deciding to continue his development at São Paulo FC in 2020. It was at this point that he became a key player for SPFC’s U17s, with whom he won both the Copa do Brasil Sub-17 and the Supercopa do Brasil Sub-17. The young defender would make his professional debut in a Copa Sudamericana tie against Peruvian outfit Ayacucho FC on 25th May 2022, before being called up by Brazil’s under-20s for the first time later that month and going on to make three appearances for his country at youth level.
The Brazilian made his first Série A appearance in a game against SC Internacional on 21st July 2022 and became an established member of the São Paulo FC first team the following year. On 1st January 2024, he joined Paris Saint-Germain, signing a contract that runs until June 2028, and made his Paris debut just two days later, in a 2-0 win over Toulouse in the Trophée des Champions at the Parc des Princes.
