Isabelle RoméeWP (イザベル・ヴトン?) is the mother of Jeanne d'Arc.
Profile[]
Background[]
Personality[]
Isabelle refers to Jeanne as Jeannette. She is shown to be a caring mother and is deeply worried about her daughter's decision to participate in the war.
She has knowledge of making medicine from herbs, which she taught to her daughter.[1]
Appearance[]
Albeit aged, Isabelle bears a striking resemblance to her daughter. She wears a green and white dress, and a brown veil.
Role[]
Fate/Apocrypha[]
Isabelle appears as an illusion created by Shakespeare's First Folio. She pleads with Jeanne to return home and give up her crusade, to which Jeanne refuses, unfazed by the illusion.
Fate/Grand Order[]
During Jeanne's second interlude in Fate/Grand Order, Mephistopheles holds Isabelle and Pierre Cauchon captive on a sinking ship. Jeanne's own ship only had room for one more person, and Mephistopheles forced her to choose. Jeanne chose to get on the sinking ship herself so that there would be room for both of them on her ship.[2]
In the manga Fate/Grand Order -turas réalta-, the adaptation of the Orleans Singularity includes Isabelle. Jeanne, revived as a Servant, saves her from dragons led by Jeanne Alter, but does not reveal her identity. She later dies in another attack from Jeanne Alter, and her last sight is seeing the twisted version of her daughter commanding Fafnir.[3]
