Hunterdon Central Regional High School District Reviews
Rating 3.88 out of 5 592 reviews
Hunterdon County Regional High School provides plenty of opportunities and resources for its students to participate and get connected through. There is a great attitude about the school, where students are encouraged to speak up and speak out about things they are passionate about. The teachers are mostly present and attentive, but like anywhere, there are some that seem to not enjoy their job as much as they may have before the pandemic.
After being a student at Hunterdon Central for 3 years so far, I believe the best part of the school is the amount of classes that allow students to explore their passion. This school offers a huge variety of academics ranging from art, technology, music, business, math, science, etc. I’ve taken so many classes that have interested me at HCRHS. Equally as important, this school does a great job at supporting diversity. Activities are held to celebrate special traditions from all cultures. During Hispanic Heritage month, they hold a party for all to attend and play hispanic music throughout the hallways.
The school was very big and had lots to offer in terms of different classes. There were lots of new things to try that most schools don't offer. That was something I really liked. However, there were so many students and you didn't really form a bond with most of them. There wasn't really a sense of unity in your grade level. That was something I didn't like as much.
