Chazz Palminteri was born on May 15, 1946 in Bronx, New York. He is an American actor and writer with an estimated net worth of $16 million.

Chazz started acting in the early 1980's. He started off in small roles in Home Free All, Hill Street Blues and The Last Dragon. He also worked as a bouncer while he was trying to make a name as an actor. He finally began to get noticed when he started appearing on his own one-man show called “A Bronx Tale” – that was in 1988. The show was a very big hit, and it was made into a movie as well. It was directed by Robert De Niro. In 2008, the play was back again for a Broadway Run. Palminteri is best known for his performances in The Usual Suspects, Hurlyburly, Mulholland Falls and Running Scared. He was nominated for the Best Supporting Actor category for “Bullets Over Broadway” at the Academy Awards.

He has also appeared in television shows such as Wiseguy, Modern Family and Rizzoli and Isles. He has worked as a director as well in “Noel”. Chazz was recently seen in A Guide to Recognizing your Saints, Arthur and the Minimoys and Running Scared. In 2004, he received the Indie Hero Award from the Method Fest Independent Film Festival for his artistic achievements in films.

Trying out different things, he opened a restaurant “Chazz: A Bronx Original” in Baltimore’s Little Italy neighborhood in 2011. The restaurant serves coal fired pizza and Italian food.

Chazz is married to actress Gianna Ranaudo. The couple has two children Dante Lorenzo and Gabrielle Rose. He lives in Bedford New York. Chazz is very spiritual and follows Christianity closely.
