Feels like Rimuru from Tensei Slime and Lloyd from Greatest Estate Developer mashed into one. Hilarious faces and moments as well as RPG elements somewhat similar to Tensei slime. This one is an enjoyable read, it's fun to watch the MC bounce around escaping death and growing stronger alongside their adorable piggy companion. Going to nitpick a bit here, but don't take it too seriously. I still really enjoy this comic and recommend it. The comedy and art are the core parts of this comic, because the story is otherwise meh. Demon lord, yada yada, have to prevent big bad evil guys from unsealing him and destroying the world. Sigh, can I get a story that doesn't involve an antagonist trying to end the world for once? I'd rate it higher if not for the generic villain. Hopefully it will subvert this trope. Most of the characters feel well done, though cliche at times. The designs, traits, and "classes" are varied but fit into the typical range you'd find in an MMO. The side-characters help move the comedy along quite well. The story, while also being trite, kind of bounces around. First we're at the starter village, then we're over here, then we're back, then we're over there, etc. I want a proper progression, not just jumbling around only to find nothing at the end of the road the MC went down. We get a big long battle/war arc that doesn't even involve the MC. He just chills on the sidelines watching these people duke it out for what feels like forever. Then at the end it's just like "Oh no, they lost! Anyway...". A battle scene like that would've been better served as an arc changing event for the MC, but instead it's used as an overdrawn backstory.

This is my original review at chapter 50:This is such a weird story. The premise seemed similar to any other isekai story out there but I was surprised to see how good it actually is. Frankly this is fantasy done right. When I think of a fantasy story I imagine something like this. The world slowly opens up to us as we venture out with MC. There's almost no exposition and even then it's done in such a way that you don't get bored. The action scenes are well done and real strategy is used for each fight. You get a sense that the characters live and are not just there to further the plot. The pace is good and we get to see many different places. When I think of fantasy I think of adventure and this is truly what you get. My only pet peeve is that the MC lacks something. I don't know what it is but I found all the other characters more entertaining than MC. Luckily it's not something that prevents me from enjoying the story. And the last good thing is the art. It's really colorful and punchy, I like that. Overall a good comic to spend time on. Here's my edit after chapter 51: Such a waste of potential! We went from an original fantasy story to the most cliche one under a chapter. And i mean all the cliche from those fantasy comics out there. Maybe we are just missing the harem but at this point I wouldn't be surprised if there was one coming. I'll put it on hold indefinitely for now and maybe come back later in a year or two to see if the story went somewhere.
