Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Visited for Red Bulls v Vancouver Whitecaps with my children. Took the train from World Trade Centre - found the journey easy both ways and ground is a short walk from Harrison station.
Inside the ground the seats are good, plenty of food and drink options - very enjoyable experience.

No place to park!!!! I lost the game. It is so disgraceful that Redbull sell thickets for a game and their private parking lot is closed, everyone had to find parking somewhere else (Newark, Harrison) game already startedat and so many people outside with place to park. Never go back again

Very nice stadium. Good views from any section. Only drawback is it has no escalators. Vendors were very good with lots of food choices.

Went to RBS July 12 vs Cincinnati.
Besides losing, the experience was a nightmare. Getting to stadium was like driving in a 3rd world country. Unpaved, deeply potholed and unmarked, the roads to the $20+ parking lot were a disgrace. Construction equipment and garbage everywhere.
Police hanging around looking at their phones as traffic simply piles up.
Hourly paid 'Parking' workers are blowing whistles and waving traffic everywhere.
Own to the game. The noise, flashing lights, flame throwers & pounding music took away from the beauty of the game.
And, if you arrive hungry or thirsty be prepared to pay obscene prices for everything.
Never again.

Nice stadium but nothing worked. They advertised the ability to order ahead on the Red Bulls App, but it didn't work. They ran out of everything, out of ketchup, out of napkins, out of Pepsi, had to wait in a long line and wait for chicken tenders and the stadium seemed to be at half capacity, they clearly aren't equipped to handle crowds. Crossing the GWB to get there was just not worth it. Going to wait for the new NYC FC stadium to be built and support them instead....

Wish I could have given more…the stadium is nice but there is no parking. Waited 45 minutes just to park and all lots were full and they had no alternatives. All local businesses if you park there end up towing you car at $250 a car. It was an absolute nightmare for people coming from out of state. Drove 1 1/2 hours to then sit and wait another 45 min to find parking. Who builds a stadium in a town full of businesses and apartments and no parking. Poorly thought out. Within 1 mile of the stadium the roads and traffic crew can’t handle the massive volume of cars for any event. It was a nightmare especially coming from the Philadelphia suburbs when you go to the Philadelphia stadiums it’s organized and tons of parking. Even the Union stadium all business open their lots and you can pay to park there for any event.
I will never go to Red Bull arena for any event in the future. Absolutely mess.

I wish I could give it a higher rating because the arena is a great place to watch soccer, but I just can’t. I drove an hour to get to Harrison and spent over an hour sitting in traffic for parking. What were people thinking building an arena in this neighborhood without enough parking?! Traffic flow is just horrendous. Leaving the game? I am still sitting in my car in the parking spot in the garage. The game needed over an hour ago. The cars have not moved an inch!! Awful planning, awful management, awful experience!! Come on!! Never again!!

Sight lines are great; easy to get to via Path trains… food ranges from mediocre to good. 1 elevator only.. since Pandemic they don’t take cash … nice food variety.

A long trip from Manhattan to see the Red Bulls. Football ok, half-time entertainment very good.
Chaotic getting in; why security and then separate ticket check?
Good views as you’d expect in a modern stadium. Food and drinks extortionate!

I am going with a large group in a coach bus. Where can we park it? Whats tailgating like?
Hi all. I'm coming in for the game on Saturday, 4/6, from PA. Never been to Red Bull Arena. I'm thinking about parking in one of the Harrison Parking lots on the arena side of the river, maybe the one off of 2nd street. What time should I get there for a 7pm game? Any other recommendations (e.g., the best lot to park in)? Anything else I should or shouldn't do? Thanks.

The lots closest to the arena are convenient (walking distance). If you get there anywhere between 4:30 and 6 you will have plenty of time to wait in line to get to parking lot, walk in, go through security, go to bathroom, get snacks/ drinks, shop for souvenir, find seats, etc. before it gets really crowded.
I´m a New York CIty FC Fan and I´m there for a game on July 14, 2019.
Could anyone tell me where the away sections is in that stadium? Is it a big problem, if i would sit in a home section. Will i get troubles with the fans?

People are people. You'll probably be OK, but you may get booed. We found most of the fans here are loud, but not violent. Most everybody wants to enjoy the game. Of course there's always the irresponsible drunks that could get out of hand, but we haven't seen any big brawls.
Here is the Club web site: nycfc
and the current (as of today) ph# : Tel: 212.738.5900
They will probably have a better answer for the sections.
Sorry, I can't be of better help.

Does the stadium have a baggage storage area? Or does Harrison station?
BurgerPilot

I don't think either have a baggage storage area. I don't know for sure.
Coming to a game & my husband has a broken foot.
What is the walking distance from parking lot to stadium?
And would uber be a better option?

There are several lots, and some are a decent distance. The closest is a $20 lot. Not sure if Uber can get you door to door, so you may want to purchase a parking pass for the arena lot. Its much closer, but likely more costly. Hope this helps.
Where do the supporters of the visiting team typically sit? Section numbers please and thank you

Sorry. I am not sure. Maybe you can google it or call the stadium.
How bad is traffic headed to a game? How much extra time should I allow? Do I pay for parking beforehand?

Unfortunately I usually stay at the Element hotel in Harrison which is a five minute walk to Red Bull Arena
