La ratona acaba de finalizar primero de Educación Infantil y es fascinante ver las ganas que tiene de aprender. Pregunta mil cosas y, por ejemplo, cada vez que algo no logra pronunciar a la primera pide que se lo repitamos poco a poco para intentar decirlo correctamente. Este interés también lo muestra cuando ve un cartel en el que alguna letra le es familiar o cuando leemos cuentos. Quiere conocer las letras y siempre las relaciona con los nombres de los niños de su clase. Así que cuando hace algunas semanas descubrí una app para el móvil con la que trabajar la lectoescritura me puse la mar de contenta porque con ella trabajaríamos parte de este aprendizaje de una forma divertida. Se trata de myABCKit y debo decir que ha sido un ¡acierto!
Hemos probado la app, en la medida de sus posibilidades, ya que esta aplicación está concebida para niños de entre 3 y 7 años por lo que partes de la misma no ha podido usarlas ya que todavía no sabe leer, pero el resto genial.
MyABCkit está ordenado por diferentes temáticas: navidad, halloween, Madrid, música, superhéroes, animales, casa…. Y cada una de ella cuenta con diferentes opciones de trabajo: escuchar palabras, frases o completar palabras entre otras. Y con ella nuestros peques descubrirán el abecedario, mejorarán la comprensión lectora, identificarán y asociarán sonidos, relacionarán imágenes y palabras o adquirirán nuevo vocabulario.
Además de jugar con la app, estas vacaciones hemos disfrutado un montón con las flash cards de primeras palabras. Con ellas hemos jugado a buscar la pareja, hemos relacionado el dibujo con el nombre… Y la ratona ha descubierto un montón de palabras.
myABCKit para IOS y Android
La app está disponible para IOS y para Android y tiene una parte gratuita y otra de pago. El plan gratuito permite el acceso a algunas lecciones, mientras que el premium permite acceder a todo el contenido de myABCKit. Si no quieres tener acceso a toda la aplicación también puedes adquirir contenido suelto, según la temática que te interese. Además, con la parte premium recibirás informes de progreso semanales para ver cómo ha trabajado tu pequeño durante la semana. Por último, quiero señalar que actualmente la app está disponible en castellano, catalán e inglés.
En mi opinión es una forma genial de trabajar con ellos de forma divertida.
