The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Friday, May 3 reveals Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will take a major step toward getting sober again.
Also coming up, Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) will try to make amends to Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman (Allison Lanier). Plus, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will not be happy with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). And Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will catch up with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).
Y&R spoilers tease Nick will ask his sister if she’s okay. Victoria will say it’s hard to break the habit of being on high alert about Jordan (Colleen Zenk). Victoria will add that Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) has been her rock through all this.
“Every time you talk about Cole you get this look in your eye,” Nick will say. “How long until the two of you pick out furniture and move in together?” Victoria will smile and admit something romantic happened between them. Nick will say he’s happy for her.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Victor Walks In As Nikki And Jack Hold Hands
Then Victor will arrive and tell them their mother didn’t come home last night. Victoria will suspect she’s been drinking again and Victor’s phone will ping. He’ll say his security thinks they know where Nikki is. So, he’ll take off.
Meanwhile, a paramedic in Nikki’s hotel room will tell her he gave Jack a shot to counteract the opioids. He’ll tell her to make sure he doesn’t take anything else. After the paramedic leaves, Nikki will tell Jack to wake up. “What happened?” he’ll ask, when he comes to. Nikki will tell him he passed out from all the pills and alcohol.
She’ll get him a glass of water and say she’s going to go to rehab. Nikki will ask why he put himself at such risk. “I was going to try anything to stop you,” Jack will reply. Nikki will take his hand and Victor will walk in and slam the door. “What’s going on here?” he’ll ask.
Nikki will ask what he’s doing here. “What do you think I’m doing here?!” he’ll shout. “I’ve been looking for you all night!” But Jack will tell Victor it’s all his fault. “The ambulance was for me,” he’ll add. “Your wife saved my life.” Victor will tell Nikki to get cleaned up, leaving him alone with Jack.
“What you did was unconscionable,” he’ll tell him. But Jack will point out Nikki has turned a corner and she saved his life. “I would not have saved your life,” Victor will reply. Nikki will return and make Jack hand over the pills.
She and Victor will return to the ranch. Nikki will say she’s sorry she put him through this but she wants to get sober again. Victor will embrace her before she goes upstairs to pack for rehab. “I love you,” he’ll say. “I love you too,” Nikki will reply. Then Nick and Victoria will arrive and she’ll tell them she’s going to rehab and they’ll embrace her.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Kyle Tells Claire Not To Beat Herself Up
At the Abbott estate, Kyle will call a few places around town, looking for his father. The doorbell will ring and Claire will be standing there. Kyle will ask if she’s okay. “I’m so glad you made it home safe, Harrison will be too,” he’ll say, adding she should stay until Harrison Locke (Redding Munsell) wakes up.
But she’s not sure if it’s a good idea. “Claire, this wasn’t your fault,” he’ll tell her. But she’ll say it still doesn’t make her feel less guilty. Kyle will tell her not to beat herself up. “There’s only one person to blame, but justice finally found Jordan.” Suddenly Harrison will run downstairs and hug Claire, telling her he’s so glad she’s back. And Summer will walk in.
“I’m happy Claire’s back,” Harrison will say to Summer. “You too mommy?” And Summer will say of course she is. She’ll take Harrison upstairs and when she comes back down, Claire will say she should get going. “If it’s okay, I would love to see Harrison again,” she’ll say to them. And Kyle will say of course she can.
After she leaves, Summer will say they need to deal with Harrison’s issues right away. “It’s like he needs to make sure that she’s safe to convince himself that he’s safe,” she’ll add. “I’m worried that he’s talking about Claire and not himself.” So, she’ll suggest Harrison should see a professional and Kyle will agree.
Finally, Jack will arrive home and Kyle will ask where’s he’s been. “Are you okay?” he’ll ask. But Jack will say of course he is. Kyle will say they’ve been worried sick about him and Jack will say he was helping out a friend. Then Victor will come to the door and blast Jack. “I’m giving you this warning once and once only, don’t you ever come near my wife again.”
