- cazvaukeaPortsmouth, UK3 contributionsBrilliant day out, great rides!! Only annoyance was the queue for lockers first thing but otherwise got on all the rides we wanted and didn't queue for too longWritten May 31, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - OlastrussLondon, UK1 contributionWe really enjoyed Disneyland! Everyone from the Team is friendly and supportive.
Fantastic shows
The only downside was that due to the rain, the characters were not walking through the side and my boy missed on hugging them and photos

The settings and actors are incredible.
Le Puy du Fou has won the award for best theme park in the world for several years running and it is totally justified.Written May 30, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - Instantcalm52 contributionsThis was our fourth visit in 9 years. We've always loved coming here, the only disadvantage being the pricy, sub-standard accommodation options around.
The park has something for everyone, with hair-raising roller coasters to serene boat rides for toddlers.
Their shows have gotten better over the years, but lately some shows have developed a pronounced cabaret-like bent with skimpier costumes and suggestive choreography that may not go down well with conservative mindsets.
The option of paying for parking near the entrance is a definite plus.
Staff at all establishments are very friendly.
Suggestions:
- Unless you're a whiz with maps or a GenZ with a smartphone, it's difficult to find correct signage to help take you where you want to go. Every signpost having one sign which points towards the exit would be a great help.
- It's a pain if you like to carry your coffee around, as paper cups are not available and a €2 deposit is taken to give you a plastic one. This is no doubt more eco-friendly, but with the long lines at counters, I don't want to wait 10 minutes just to get my deposit back, so end up lugging a (by now smelly) plastic cup all over the park which is irritating to say the least (non-coffee establishments don't accept the cup). I wish there were a more efficient way this was handled.Written May 26, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I was very impressed with all the amazing flowers and plants all over the park. Fantastic colors and variety anywhere you look! We staying for the evening light and fire show, it was very colorful and very original.Written May 30, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Elizabeth JLeicestershire, UK44 contributionsVisited yesterday with children aged 3 and 5yrs and had a great time. Excellent variety of rides and attractions for our family, not just within the Peppa Pig section but also the other themed areas. There also seemed to be a great selection of rides for those with older children. Park was clean throughout and well maintained, queue times were well sign posted and we didn’t see anything over 30 mins with most being less than this despite being half term. All staff were pleasant throughout which also left a very positive impact on our day. Not a cheap day out but thoroughly enjoyable with plenty to do for all the family.Written June 1, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jo L1 contributionWhat a fabulous place to visit with kids, excellent day out and so much to do. Leave yourself lots of time for the maze, you will definitely get lost!Written May 31, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Elif U1 contributionThis park is very nice and clean.
They habe a lot of cool attractions.
We went on a Monday and waited 30mins per attractions wich was okay because it was very busy as well (holidays).
The only bad thing was that the prices for the food and souvenirs are extremely extremely expensive. The prices does not make any sense. I paid 6 euro‘s for a waffle. The food is also everywhere very bad and there are no varieties. Only burgers and fries, not worth the money so take you lunchpakket and waterbottles with you if you don‘t want to get ripped off.
The second bad thing is that all the workers were very very lazy and slow. No one smiles or greets you wich is sad for a park like this. They work very very slow and dont pay attention to what you order and make a lot of mistakes with the orders… sadlyWritten April 30, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. This was perfect to meet their "wants" of a family day out. The zoo was small enough to spend a few hours in and the shows were just amazing. The dolphin show was the best I have ever seen. It was so good and the photo opportunity at the end was an unexpected surprise!
After the zoo we ate dinner in the ranch restaurant which was great, amazing selection from pizza to burgers, all at a very reasonable price. We all had a meal and a drink each and it cost just under €40.
After dinner we headed to the water park, no scramble for sun beds and the park was great not too big and no ques for slides it was just enough to keep the kids entertained for 2 hours. I would definitely recommend this park to family's for a great day out to please different interests! And I would definitely return.Written May 22, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - helenmesserBirmingham, UK142 contributionsI couldn’t have imagined anything worse than trapsing around a theme park all day in 31 degree heat but our kids wanted to go and so we did.
I have to admit we had a fantastic day. We hired sun beds near the fake beach area and had a wonderful time enjoying the wave pool, the slides, the rides. It was really fantastic and I would go again.
If you’re not planning on hiring sunbeds bring a shade (parasol) and blankets. If you are planning on hiring a sun bed get there early because whilst there are lots of them they do go fairly fast within the first 90 mins of opening. Sunbeds cost between 10-15 euro per day to hire two (depending where you sit) and that fee includes a shade.
Do not miss the Dolphin show. It’s beautiful but get to the amphitheatre about ten - fifteen mins before the start.
This place only needs to improve on two things:
1) Faster check in on tickets. It’s ridiculously slow to check people into the park even with pre booked tickets. I’ve visited other theme parks where they operate this process much faster so come on Sea Marine get it improved please! We were stood in a queue for 35 mins absolutely baking (and we arrived at 9:50!) just to get through the door
2) the food service is so slow. The ordering booths were mostly out of order so you spent ages and I mean a good 45 mins just ordering then queuing again to collect your food.

The park is huge and spotlessly clean. The staff are all hardworking, approachable and tremendously polite and helpful. We visited the park three days in a row and managed to visit every ride and see every attraction that we wanted. Thanks to the very helpful Efteling app, I think the longest we ever waited for a ride was 25 mins and a lot of the time the wait was 10 mins or so, which was fantastic. We watched both the Aquanura water show and the Caro show, both were wonderful. There is a good variety of things to do for different ages. Our children are 12, 9 and 6 and they all had something "for them", and even I really enjoyed quite a few of the rides. It really is a well-run, clean and friendly place to visit. Even though it was busy when we visited (May half term week), we never felt crowded, the park is just so big!Written May 31, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - jonathan c1 contributionThe hotel and the park are brilliant really clean, well organised and the staff are really helpful and pleasant.
The only down side is the price of food and drink in both the hotel and the park for the quality.
The food is poor, similar to Wetherspoons yet you are paying premium prices. Our meal on an evening for a family of 4 was close to £150 with 1 drink each. The cost of beer in the hotels is also expensive I was paying &7.50 a pint.
Like I said a great place and an amazing trip but it feels like they can charge want they want once your in.Written May 15, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
