Honestly a great day out, loved every minute.

Arrived at 9:30 and they let us in early at 9:45. We headed straight to the high-ticket rides and there were no queues for the first hour. It did get busier afterwards but quieted down again later, so we didn't need the fast pass.

All queues were shaded, which is great for fair-skinned people. The layout is well done and feels like a creative theme park.

One must: is to bring or buy water booties, as flip-flops aren't allowed on rides meaning you must leave them at the top or bottom of the queue and walk on the baking hot pavement.

I visited Disneyland only not WD studios. It was just an amazing experience, our favourites are the Pirates of the Caribbean and the lion king show! The only let down is the food: it’s very bad fast food, Mc Donald’s is better! And it’s 3 times its price. Definitely improvement to be done on the quality of the food.

We are a British family and stayed for 3 days / 2 nights in the May half term. We travelled via Eurostar and TGV, so used the shuttle service and private transfer to get to and from Angers St Laud. I called the booking line to arrange this and it was very easy to get there from Paris.

We had the most magical, fantastic few days and absolutely would recommend to other families!

I speak a little French, but my husband and 10 year old don’t, so we were interested and a little nervous to see how we’d get on with the live translation. Whilst the immersive experiences were a little hit and miss with the translations, available via the app (sometimes the same lines would be repeated or we’d miss part of the story), the translations for the live shows were very good. The shows are so spectacular that you can often easily tell what’s going on anyway!

We had so many ‘wow!’ moments during our stay, it was lovely to see our pre-teen get caught up in the magic and wonder of it all. Husband declared it better than Disney!

We stayed in Le Citadelle, which was a really wonderful hotel in the park. I’ve stayed in theme park hotels before at Disney, Legoland etc and not been very impressed with the facilities, so I was a bit worried but our room totally surpassed our expectations. Our room was clean, very well equipped, thoughtfully designed with a separate sleeping area for kids and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel offers an on-site restaurant, which offers a great continental breakfast selection that we thoroughly enjoyed.

Food on-site is of great quality and value and the shops offer decent souvenirs - not just plastic rubbish found elsewhere!

Overall, Puy du Fou totally blew us away and we made memories to last a lifetime. Fantastic experience and would highly recommend!

After visiting Alton Towers and the Orlando Universal, we decided to visit Europa Park on a recent lads and dads trip and it did not disappoint! The park is cleaner than Alton Towers and more natural than Universal and I would put it in the same bracket as both overall.

We are thrill seekers and the new ride Voltron is THE BEST ride we've ever been on.

It's just a tiny bit better than the VolociCoaster in Orlando and a bit better than Smiler at Alton Towers. The theme is great as you queue inside and the longest queue we had was 45 mins at the end of the day which was ok. The ride itself has so many new twists and turns that are so unexpected on the first ride ( we went on this 5x over 2.5 days it was soo good.)

Silver Star has shorter, quicker queues and is super high and has great drops.
Blue Fire has short queues but lacks a theme and feels a bit faceless.
Whereas Wodan has lots and lots of wooden Norse theming and is a great og roller coaster.

For those of us who weren't wearing coats or ponchos, we got wet on a few of the many water rides ( I don't understand the point of going on a wet ride and not getting wet?).

We enjoyed the 5 min wait on the bumper cars in the Arena and old school rides still do the trick!

The food around the park was healthier than any other park we've been on and we even enjoyed a vegan curry at one point!

The park was spotless and every toilet ( lots of them ) was clean and fresh and welcome after the queuing and rides around the park.

Overall, the queuing wasn't too bad ( we normally do Fast Pass or Hotel Pass to avoid queues ) and most of the big rides were 30 min to 40 min at most, even at peak times.

We tried the Virtua Queue one time for one ride on Voltron and it felt great to go straight to the front that one time. We tried all day to get on other attractions but found all the rides to be fully booked for the day from thereon in.

All in all, a great park - we were there for 2.5 days and continued to have a great time, lots of fun and would recommend to all 50+ year old dads using their 17 year old teenage sons as an excuse to still go to theme parks on a break!

A beautiful place in the middle of the city! A lot of rides and a huge variety of restaurants and eateries. I was very impressed with all the amazing flowers and plants all over the park. Fantastic colors and variety anywhere you look! We staying for the evening light and fire show, it was very colorful and very original.

I absolutely adored my first experience at a theme park! As a coeliac I can get a bit nervous when buying food at bigger places, but i really wanted to do a special shout out to Joe (from Route 83).

He was so quick to reassure me about my allergies, immediately set me up with an alternative food options, and even highlighted menu options i could have with ease. I felt really reassured and this allowed me to enjoy the rest of my amazing day!

    Thank you!

This park is very nice and clean.
They habe a lot of cool attractions.
We went on a Monday and waited 30mins per attractions wich was okay because it was very busy as well (holidays).
The only bad thing was that the prices for the food and souvenirs are extremely extremely expensive. The prices does not make any sense. I paid 6 euro‘s for a waffle. The food is also everywhere very bad and there are no varieties. Only burgers and fries, not worth the money so take you lunchpakket and waterbottles with you if you don‘t want to get ripped off.
The second bad thing is that all the workers were very very lazy and slow. No one smiles or greets you wich is sad for a park like this. They work very very slow and dont pay attention to what you order and make a lot of mistakes with the orders… sadly

The park itself is excellent. Lots to see and do, then head to the waterpark for the last couple of hours where theyve recently added a few new slides and looks like more still under construction.

Food large portions and good value

Only let down this year was the transportation. First coach arrived 30 minutes late and was full, had to wait another 30 minutes for the 2nd coach to arrive resulting in an hour of wasted park time. When it came to leave it was chaos, none of the coaches were displaying their destinations and the staff seemed pretty clueless as well. Get some signage, such an easy thing to fix!

The aquapark is once in a lifetime experience whether an adult or a kid. The slides are extremely fun for everyone. Will definitely come back again.

This attraction is one of the best we've visited. The presentation (shows) are really spectacular and entertaining. The animals all seem to be well cared for and show genuine love for their trainers. The shows were in Portuguese and English. Booking for the shows isn't required, would recommend turning up about 5-10 minutes before it starts.

The park also includes a great swimming pool and beach area. The wave pool was a big hit with the kids (9 and 11). The water park slides were also great, they were such fun and it was all very safe with plenty of lifeguards.

    Extra info:
Lockers are available to rent €7-€9 for all day rental.
Food options are also great. I'm GF and dairy free and was able to find a salad bowl.
Tip: most people find an area on the grass by the pool for their towels. It's a good idea to do this in the morning to secure a good spot.

We took our 3 children to Efteling from the UK for a five day trip, staying at Bosrijk village. The park is huge and spotlessly clean. The staff are all hardworking, approachable and tremendously polite and helpful. We visited the park three days in a row and managed to visit every ride and see every attraction that we wanted. Thanks to the very helpful Efteling app, I think the longest we ever waited for a ride was 25 mins and a lot of the time the wait was 10 mins or so, which was fantastic. We watched both the Aquanura water show and the Caro show, both were wonderful. There is a good variety of things to do for different ages. Our children are 12, 9 and 6 and they all had something "for them", and even I really enjoyed quite a few of the rides. It really is a well-run, clean and friendly place to visit. Even though it was busy when we visited (May half term week), we never felt crowded, the park is just so big!

The hotel and the park are brilliant really clean, well organised and the staff are really helpful and pleasant.
The only down side is the price of food and drink in both the hotel and the park for the quality.
The food is poor, similar to Wetherspoons yet you are paying premium prices. Our meal on an evening for a family of 4 was close to £150 with 1 drink each. The cost of beer in the hotels is also expensive I was paying &7.50 a pint.
Like I said a great place and an amazing trip but it feels like they can charge want they want once your in.
