    St. Petersburg is a great place to visit. This palace is so gorgeous with amazing view. Always spend enough time here inside, so many things to see.
    Don’t miss any palaces here.

    I have visited a lot of countries around the world but I have not seen clean metro stations look like Moscow metro stations , and each station has different stiles than the other ones .

    Most famous #1 theater in Russia which completely lives up the expectations. Ballet is superb and the best in the world, while opera may raise questions.
    Practical tips for your visit:
    Book tickets waay in advance, it's very hard to get;
    Theater has multiple entrancies, it will take some time to find yours;
    Taking pictures is officially allowed during the breaks;
    Wearing elegant clothes is recommended but black tie isn't obligatory, especially for the daytime shows.

    It is the original citadel of St. Petersburg, Russia, founded by Peter the Great in 1703 and built to Domenico Trezzini's designs from 1706 to 1740 as a star fortress.Between the first half of the 1700s and early 1920s it served as a prison for political criminals. It has been a museum since 1924.

    If you are looking for a place to experience a unique atmosphere, then the traditional place is the perfect destination. With a wide range of brands to choose from, you can find something to your liking. I highly recommend you to try their ice cream and watermelon, as they are both delicious and refreshing.

    One of the highlights of our trip to Russia, (my wife’s and myself, her sister, and my brother in law) was without any doubt our trip to the Golden Ring and especially to The Holy Trinity-St. Sergius Lavra church in the city of Sergiev Posad which is considered to be one of the most important religious centers in Russia and a pilgrimage site especially to believers in Orthodox Christianity.
    Since we arrived with our “private” guide who had “pre-arranged” personal guidance for us, so we “got” a young guide from the church staff who took us under his wings and led us to all the interesting places (and they are many) throughout the site. Explained to us the history of the place from its inception to the present day. Starting from the entrance area with the arched door and the amazing frescoes on the walls and ceiling and later all the spectacular sites (and they are many). In conclusion a most amazing place NOT 2 B MISSED.

    This complex is experiencing an unbelievable renaissance now. Apart from meticulous restoration of numerous Soviet-era pavilions, fountains, and ponds, a total overhaul of all underground utilities, and eye-catching landscape design, it currently hosts the enormous, state-of-the-art International Russia Expo, which was the main reason we went there in November. My wife, our two grandsons, and I.
    It is absolutely impossible to describe it in one review. This is the right case to say that seeing is believing. One thing is definite, however: all this demands several days of any traveller's time.
    Strongly recommended. A must. A can't miss. You'll love every minute of your trip there. On any day of any season.

    The building is located on Palace Square not far from the Kazan Kremlin and the embankment of the Kazanka River.
    The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan is located here.
    The building was built in 2008. The area around it is equipped, a park is laid out.
    Often there are photo shoots of the newlyweds.
    In the center of the building, in a niche, there is a large bronze tree, which is beautifully illuminated with green light at night.
    In terms of architecture, this building personally reminds me of the Hofburg Royal Palace in Vienna.
    A very beautiful place where you can take a walk in the park or along the river embankment.
    There is a large paid parking nearby.

    Me and my buddies visited it on May Day holidays during our leisure trip to Vladimir.
    I wouldn't like to chew the same fat, so I'd just add that, firstly, its territory is easily accessible by car and, secondly, there's a good - and legal! - chance to avoid paying an entrance fee.
    So, firstly. One should drive behind the ancient Cathedral of Saint Demetrius, proceed to that Holy Assumption Cathedral, climb a small hill it stands upon, circumvent it clockwise and - here you are! - find yourself on a large parking place to leave one's car literally a couple of meters away from the main entrance.
    Secondly. The cathedral is both a place of worship and a museum. Hence, when one enters it as a laic then he/she must buy a ticket whilst one does it as a believer, he/she, naturally, pays nothing. A simple recommendation: do it the latter way. In this case you'll save a couple of bucks and enjoy the razzle-dazzle of an Orthodox Christian liturgy.
    You are welcome!

    The Cathedral of Apostles Peter and Paul requires some walking off the beaten track in an area north of the main Bauman St, where's nothing else to do. Beware it's an uphill walk through a residential area.
    However, it pays of as the Cathedral looks gorgeous, newly renovated and painted.
    To enter it you must climb a flight of stairs on the left side of the Cathedral.
    Doing that, first you'll be rewarded with a nice city panorama from Cathedral terrace due to that elevated position.
    Second, entering it, marvelous frescoes and iconostasis await you inside.

    I did right this in the middle of June. At ease, taking my time, admiring each of its twenty ancient towers. It's pointless to describe them one by one, most travellers would anyway pay attention on maybe not more than five - Spasskaya (with the chimes), Nikolskaya, Troitskaya, Borovitskaya, Beklemishevskaya.
    I'd recommend to take such a stroll with a knowledgeable English-speaking guide (there are a lot of them in Moscow) and, surely, in good weather conditions. A night tour will make it even more exiting and enigmatic.
    Strongly recommended! A can't miss.

    My favorite part of visiting Veliky Novgorod is all the historical building. There is so much history behind it and the Kremlins look spectacular.

    His name is prince Dmitry Pozharsky and he was one of two personalities who literally saved Russia from falling apart in 1612.
    I went there together with my friends in early May deliberately, to pay respect to that great man. The weather was very nice.
    We approached his shrine which had been desecrated and levelled to the ground by communists but then fully restored by normal people. What a breathtaking feeling...
    Yes, we Russians go there not only to pray or do selfies.
    Recommended, of course.
    (Do mind that this is both a monastery and a museum, so one has to buy tickets to get in. Parking nearby is a real challenge.)
