Veteran auto industry executive Richard Beattie has joined Kawasaki Motors Corp. U.S.A. as chief marketing and sales officer.
Beattie, 58, reports to Kawasaki President Tak Teranishi and is responsible for marketing, sales and product strategy for the company's recreation and utility products in the United States and Central and South America.
Beattie retired in November after 11 months as Fisker Automotive's chief commercial officer. He worked in marketing and sales at Jaguar Land Rover North America from 2002 to 2007, retired for two years and returned in 2009 as executive vice president of marketing and sales.
