I spent all four years of High School at SCHS, and I honestly have mixed opinions about it. The educational oppritunities are amazing, and I am graduating High School this year having 18 college credits already. The school admin is great and our principal is the most wonderful woman ever, and most of the teachers are pretty good to students as well. However, I felt very unsafe at this school. They did a good job at protecting students from weapons and drugs, but when it comes to the students themselves, not so much. I know several people who have assaulted and harrased countless students, and despite being reported to the school several times, the school did nothing about it and took no disciplinary actions. So, the school itself isn't bad, but they are definetly lacking in student saftey precautions.
Loved the environment where I could grow into a successful individual, so much support given for many students from staff and faculty. Participated in many extracurriculars so I could get to know others better, definitely helped with connecting and finding my voice among the student body. Met many of my best friends here and will forever remember my experience at Sand Creek High School.
My high school experience was rewarding and I really enjoyed my time with the Theater department. During my last year of high school, I was dual-enrolled, completing my credit hours for high school and taking 14 credit hours Spring 2024. I was also a lab assistant for the Chemistry department at Sand Creek High School.
