Therrell High School Reviews
Rating 4.13 out of 5 40 reviews
Throughout my entire high school journey at Therrell High School, spanning four years, I gained extensive experience. However, the first two years were particularly challenging. Initially, adapting to virtual learning posed difficulties, compounded by the school's lack of seriousness regarding the curriculum in my freshman year. Consequently, I failed a class, necessitating summer catch-up. The drama escalated in my sophomore year, making Therrell High School the epicenter of turmoil among the schools I've attended. Daily fights and frequent appearances on the news for trivial matters were the norm. The constant turnover of teachers left us with extended periods of inadequate education in certain subjects. Junior year brought no respite from the drama. However, as senior year unfolded, things took a positive turn. This year a notable change in teachers demeanor towards us as young adults. Moreover, the students seemed to have matured, exhibiting behavior befitting high school students.
This school needs a better administration and school facilities. The teachers are unprofessional and delay inputting grades for students. They then contact parents and communicate the child is failing when in fact they are not, grades were not entered.
Attending Therrell High School played a beneficial role in helping me to become who I am today. The rigorous coursework, advice from faculty and staff members and the closeness of the student body. Therrell does have it’s pros and cons just like any other school, however it is on the path to becoming even more excellent.
