    Home of the REBELS!

The South High School community is a cooperative and encouraging environment in which we strive to ensure that the students have an educational experience that develops their minds, character and physical well-being. We endeavor to make sure that there are equal opportunities for success for all. At South High School we offer a comprehensive program that is rich in academics, athletics, the arts, and activities.

South High School offers a rigorous academic program that challenges each student to achieve his/her greatest potential. These classes provide our students with the tools to be college and career ready when they graduate from our school. We expect our students to think critically to problem solve while developing the communication and technological skills necessary to master the challenges of a global society.
The students of South High School take pride in participating in interscholastic and intramural athletics at a very competitive level. Our athletic teams instill the values of hard-work and determination in our students thus providing them with an opportunity for further development and success. Our students are provided with the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities related to the fine and performing arts. We offer classes and activities that support a broad range of interests and abilities. South High School offers a diverse extra-curricular activities program to its students. Our extra-curricular activities program, with the help of dedicated advisors and students, provides our community with a great deal of leadership, service, and dedication. We provide opportunities for all of our students to join a club or organization that meets their interests.

The combination of academics, athletics, arts, and activities helps to make South High School a “Four-A” school. The students of South High School are encouraged to maximize their opportunities for success by taking advantage of all that we have to offer.
