Is that a bug, or am I missing something? When trying to insert a clip from the preview window (with"insert clip - F9) at the cursor position on the timeline, resolve always inserts the clip at the beginning of the timeline. Does anyone watch this mistake?

I see that happen when the playhead is at the very end of the timeline on the edit page. When I drag the clip from the preview window to the timeline window and right click and select “insert” the clip is inserted at the start of the timeline. I am using Resolve 15 on a Windows pc.

My pc is:
Windows Pro 10/64
I9900K @3.6 GHZ 32 GB memory
GTX 1070 8 GB
Resolve folders are on a Samsung 970 EVO 500 GB - NVMe PCIe M.2

Have you tried Option-X (will clear timeline in and out points)? The behaviour you described is the same when pasting a clip. Problem is solved when in and out points are deleted.

Vynce, Maybe that was it. Anyway, now the problem is solved.

Vynce Thank you! This has been driving me mad for weeks! It was only happening on one project so I knew it was something I had done. I did post a question on here but did not get a reply. I probably did not word it very well.
