Funeral. I was booked for a funeral.
Had a request for housesitting come in for one day only for six hours, not overnight. To confirm details are not a typo, I reach out and client asks me to call.
Turns out, her family member had passed away, and the family wanted the dogs to attend the services. They needed an experienced dog handler to come to services and be with the dogs during the viewing and Mass.
I accepted the booking. This family was grieving. It would provide them comfort the dogs would be there for their owner (the dearly departed).
The dogs were absolutely so well behaved.
The family was so kind and appreciative that I was there for them. And I’ve earned a client for many years to come as well as many other family members who asked for my info to book me in the future as well. 💙
