Nice trail that is fully paved. Not as well developed as Kokosing Gap Trail, but still has some nice scenery. looks like restrooms every 6 miles or so. No facilities at the trailhead right now, so we needed to run down to McDonald's before we started the ride. We would love to ride it again in the spring.
2 weeks ago I rode from the Patton Rd parking lot to Centerburg & back. Nice parking lot on Patton Rd. This was my first time seeing this trail, & I loved it. It was shaded most of this section & beautiful. Trail was well maintained. Highly recommend, especially if you’re looking for a shady ride.
Paved trail that is over 15 miles long. Runs along some beautiful farm land, crosses a river, runs adjacent to small town with a small stop to stretch and drink water, and cuts through Centerburg. Used to be an old railway, so it is flat with new brush on both sides for most of the way. It is paved, so a bit hard on the feet and joints if you walk the entire length, but perfect for biking. Plenty of dog owners who can't/won't read the few rules on the trail; which is to clean up after your dog, and to put dogs on leash. Otherwise it would be a near-perfect trail.
Nice bike and walking trail from Centerburg to Mount Vernon. Flat and shady. Easy ride with nice views. Connects with Kokosing gap trail in Mount Vernon then another trail in Danville to cross the county with few gaps in the trail. Roughly 50 miles with all three trails. Limited facilities until you get to Mount Vernon.
