Viewers have been gushing about RTE’s show Home of the Year as they enjoyed taking a peek into more stunning homes.
Judges Hugh Wallace, Deirdre Whelan and Peter Crowley were back for another episode of the popular show and visited homes in Cavan, Belfast and Dublin.
Stop number one for the Home of the Year judges was Cavan as they visited Kevin O’Neill’s converted barn.
In just three years, architect Kevin turned the barn from a dilapidated structure into a stunning home.
The standout feature of the home was an elevated loft area over the kitchen with a foosball table and beanbags.
The judges scored the house an impressive 24 points out of thirty.
In Belfast, the Home of the Year crew visited Hellen and Alan O’Harra’s new townhouse that they bought in 2016. This house also received 24 points.
However, the winning house on last night’s show belonged to Eoin Murray and Kate O’Donnell.
Home of the Year showcased their stunning Dublin home that had been transformed from a 1930s council house to a modern new house.
They gutted the entire structure and rebuilt it while doubling the size of the house and adding an extension.
The house was scored a whopping 29 points out of 30.
Viewers loved Home of the Year and took to Twitter to gush about the show.
In particular, Hugh Wallace came in for a lot of praise.
