The countries under Mexico are considered a part of “Central America”. That’s why.

I’ll admit when I was a kid I thought Central America was its own continent.

Prob bc of naftas PR

Poor Greenland always gets forgotten.

Anyway, Greenland aside, the term "North America" sometimes does refer to just those countries. Central America and the Bahamas are sometimes included, but sometimes not - depends on who is using the term and in what context.

Most North Americans don’t know there are other countries.

Name the 23 countries in North America?

Just Google it if you honestly don’t know

I'm sorry. I was wrong. I thought it was more central or South America. But if you count all the islands, you get 23.

Que Yakko Warner.

There aren't. Central America is usually considered South America.

That makes no sense.. that’s like considering Maine to be Canada, or Texas to be Mexico.

Central America is a subregion of North America, not South America. Literally just google it if you don’t know.
