Voss Daily Guide

Voss Daily Guide

The Voss Dailies are a set of Missions on Voss you can repeat to earn Reputation and Voss-themed rewards.

Thank you player Zahk for all your help on this guide to make it easier for other players to find the quest objectives!

How to Start

To start the Voss Dailies, your character does NOT have to be up to Voss in their class story, but being at least level 48 is recommended.

Once you’ve headed to Voss via either travelling directly in your ship and shuttling down from the spaceport, or by Accepting the Voss weekly mission from the Solo Tab of the activities finder, all the missions to do for the week will be obtainable from the Terminal right next to you on the shuttle platform (on imperial side, the terminal will be a short walk away – at the taxi droid).

I highly recommend you double check the terminal and make sure you have everything before beginning for the day, because the standard weekly from the Activities window does not give much of any rewards – the reputation token and experience are heavily weighted in the “[WEEKLY] Defending Voss-Ka” mission, which asks you to do all four heroics. “Trial of the First” can also be picked up from inside the Shrine of Healing, but it is the only one available there, so it’s recommended you get them all from the shuttle terminal.

Reputation

Reputation is a way of gaining favor with different groups by completing missions for them. As you level up your reputation rank, more rewards for that reputation track become available. Reputation is shared by all your characters on your server, so it’s legacy-wide.

By using multiple characters, you won’t be limited to how many Voss heroics you run, but you will still be gated by how many reputation points you can earn – you can only earn a hard limit of 12,000 reputation points per week.

Ranks

As you run Voss Heroics, you’ll rank up your reputation, and each rank unlocks new rewards from the Voss Reputation vendor near the quest terminal.

  • None – 0 Reputation
  • Outsider – 0/2,500 Reputation (2,500 total points needed)
  • Newcomer – 0/5,000 Reputation (7,500 total points needed)
  • Friend – 0/7,500 Reputation (15,000 total points needed)
  • Hero – 0/10,000  Reputation (25,000 total points needed)
  • Champion – 0/15,000 Reputation (40,000 total points needed)
  • Legend – 0/30,000 Reputation (70,000 total points needed)

Tokens

Each type of token from Voss gives you a different amount of Reputation, and it also changes based on what various boosts you have and whether you are subscribed or not:

  •  Voss Historical Tablet: 270 Reputation (as a subscriber), drops off enemies in the Heroic Areas
  •  Gormak Power Cell: 630 Reputation (as a subscriber), previously a reward for individual Heroics, may be deprecated.
  •  Voss Mystic’s Orb: 1440 Reputation (as a subscriber), Large token awarded for each Heroic and the Weekly Defending Voss-Ka.

Other Rewards

Depending on your level when completing a Voss Heroic, there are also some additional rewards tied to some missions; exactly what per mission is on a table down below!

  • MK-2 Lockbox: At any level under 80, most Planetary Heroics will award MK-2 Lockboxes of differing names, giving some gear that’s relevant to the level you are and the discipline you play. For most combat styles, you will have to select one of two options (Demolisher tank gear vs Boltblaster damage gear, for example).
  • Conquest Gear Piece: At level 80, all MK-2 Lockboxes will be replaced by a Conquest Gear Box instead. These have a minimum item level of 324, and are green quality.
  • Locked Supply Crates: Starting at level 70, these locked crates will be awarded for most Planetary Heroics. Inside is a few gifts, a chance at some vehicles, and pieces of unique looking gear that can be unlocked in collections once you’ve bound a full set!
  • Tech Fragments: Starting at level 80, Tech Fragments are an endgame currency used to buy Legendary Implants, Tacticals, materials for the best Augments in the game, and some older/cosmetic armors.
  • Daily Resource Matrices: Originally called Aquatic Resource Matrix, the Daily Resource Matrices are a currency earned through killing Heroic World Bosses or completing Daily/Weekly missions on planets at level 80. They are used to upgrade all tracks of gear from 324 to 336.

Earning Reputation

  • The Weekly “Daily Area” quest asks you to complete any 3 Heroics and gives you only experience and credits.
  • The Weekly “Defending Voss-Ka” quests asks you to complete all 4 Voss Heroics and gives you a purple reputation item.
  • Each individual Heroic 2+ mission gives you a purple reputation item.
  • The rest of your reputation you’ll earn just from killing enemies in the Heroic Areas and using the green Tablets they sometimes drop.

[HEROIC 2+] Cyber Mercenaries

Republic only – Fairly Easy phased heroic. No competition and no exceptionally difficult enemies.

Tips

  • This Heroic takes place within the Palath-Ri Marches inside an abandoned bunker on the east side. The Heroic Transport Shuttle will drop you off right outside the phase, you can quick-travel to Kri-Ta Outpost and head north along the wall as well.
  • When accepting the Heroic from the shuttle pad in Voss-Ka, step off the grey platform as it is technically part of the spaceport, then you may use your Heroic Shuttle mission item to teleport as normal.
  • This heroic comes with an optional bonus of defeating 25 Cyber Mercenaries (both silver and gold enemies, twileks and humans) and 15 Gormak Tech Masters (silver enemies with cannons). It only rewards extra experience and credits.
  • All enemies can be stunned and the gold mercenaries and Gormaks can be interrupted. Both silver and gold mercenaries have an electric shield that reflects a small amount of your melee damage back to you, and Gormaks have the ability to knock you back.
  • For your primary objective, breaking Medical Equipment can be done with impunity but make sure to rest up before breaking the Kolto Tanks, as a Gold Level Cyber Mercenary will come out of each one and attack right away.
  • BUG: try to fight enemies away from the Medical Equipment tables, as they can sometimes get stuck in the “ceiling” of the object and become impossible to attack.
  • Upon breaking all of your needed equipment on the east side of the bunker, your objective will update to go Find the Cyber Leader on the west side. He will be shielded by a force field, upon walking near you will receive the objective to go across the room and turn it off.
  • The Cyber Leader is a Champion level enemy with lots more HP than the rest of the enemies in this bunker, but thankfully just does a short knockback and a missile blast attack. Interrupt the missiles and he should be no problem.

[HEROIC 2+] Cleanse the Corrupted

Empire only – Fairly Easy phased heroic. No competition and no exceptionally difficult enemies.

Tips

  • This Heroic takes place within the Nightmare Lands directly in the middle of The Twisted Forest. The Heroic Transport Shuttle will drop you off right outside the phase, you can quick-travel to Ghen’s Overlook and head southeast as well.
  • After a pack of silver mawvorrs and a pack of shaclaws led by a gold quality one (both can be stealthed past) you will need to defeat a corrupted Voss Commando named Vara-Sol before continuing to break the corruption shrine behind him to cancel the red static barrier and continue on. Vara can force lift a target, usually your companion. If you are force-lifted have your stun-break ability ready, otherwise he does nothing special.
  • The next pocket of the cave contains three more commandos, all champion-level that need to be killed. They can all be fought one at a time at your convenience. Akana-Tok is a standard caster and is interruptible. Chalak-Ka is very much like Vara-Sol earlier but with more health: he will keep trying to use force lift and spinning strike. Both are interruptible. Norus-Wel summons two shaclaws to help him, but they are extremely weak and is otherwise stunnable and interruptible.
  • After breaking the second corruption shrine and killing/stealthing past another pack of mawvorrs, defeat Suvar-Ton to complete the heroic. She will try to cast an interruptible damage over time effect. This can also be cleansed if applied to you.

[HEROIC 2+] Savage Connections

Republic only – Fairly Easy phased heroic. No competition and no difficult enemies if you stick to the objective.

Tips

  • This Heroic takes place within the southeast corner of The Gormak Lands. The Heroic Transport Shuttle will drop you off right outside the phase, you must then walk further out away from the bunker (go overtop of the swirling objective on your map) and then head toward it again to complete the “Find the Bunker” objective. This will update the mission and let you inside the phase.
  • When accepting the Heroic from the shuttle pad in Voss-Ka, step off the grey platform as it is technically part of the spaceport, then you may use your Heroic Shuttle mission item to teleport as normal.
  • This heroic requires you to kill 8 Gormak Slayers (gold enemies) and 8 Cyber Mawvorrs (silver enemies). They usually are near each other in packs, and the Mawvorrs can shield the Slayers to protect them, so killing the Mawvorr first is usually fastest.
  • All enemies can be stunned and interrupted. There are Gormak Tinkerers, Arsonists and Master Gunners around the halls too, but if you have stealth can be ignored, as they don’t count.
  • There appears to be no bonus objective.
  • There is a champion level enemy named the Gormak Blood Chief on the 2nd floor, she is capable of dropping Fire Probes on the ground that will deal heavy damage if stood in, and can follow them up with a cryo grenade to stun you. Keep a stun-break handy and be ready to move around if you decide to fight this enemy – they sometimes drop color crystals.

[HEROIC 2+] Rock-Eaters

Empire only – Average phased heroic. No competition and one difficult enemy.

Tips

  • This Heroic takes place within the Pelath-Ri Marches, deep in a cave called the Forgotten Ruins. The Heroic Transport Shuttle will drop you off right outside the phase, which will look locked. Walk behind where you start and run around the large sarcophagus in the room with you to complete the “Locate the Tomb” objective. This will update the mission and let you inside the phase.
  • Seemingly to prevent stealthers from running to the end, the first objective inside the instance is to defeat 8 Gormak Guardians. This includes the silver enemies as well and not just the Rock Eater Guardians. There are exactly 8 enemies between the start of the phase and the force-field preventing further access, so you must fully clear this initial section of the tomb of enemies. They have no noteworthy attacks.
  • Once you’ve cleared the area, disable the forcefield using the big glowing green button on the left wall. Your next objective is to defeat the Rock Eater so if you have stealth the rest of the guardians can be ignored.
  • The Rock Eater is a huge vorantikus-style champion, who will reduce your armor rating with each consecutive attack. He has a casted attack called “combustible slam” that will deal heavy damage over time if you allow him to do it, interrupt quickly. If you need to use defensives, save them for when you are out of interrupts and get slammed so you can compensate for the low armor later. He can be stunned.

[HEROIC 2+] Not Afraid Enough

Republic only – “Hardest” of 4 heroics. No phase, can share credit with other republic players. Easy to accidentally pull too many at once.

Tips

  • This Heroic takes place within the Nightmare Lands inside a secluded heroic area called the Boneyard. The Heroic Transport Shuttle will drop you off right on the path to the Boneyard, and you can quick-travel to Shad-Ka Outpost and head northwest too.
  • When accepting the Heroic from the shuttle pad in Voss-Ka, step off the grey platform as it is technically part of the spaceport, then you may use your Heroic Shuttle mission item to teleport as normal.
  • All enemies can be stunned and interrupted. The humanoid Thalaks have the ability to knock you back and have many interruptable attacks. The Mawvorrs do nothing special.
  • The main danger of this area is that there are so many gold-level enemies and you can sometimes overwhelm yourself! There does not appear to be a bonus.
  • There is only one Vorantikus to fight in the Boneyard – right in the center. If you do not see him someone may have killed him recently so either switch instances (open your large map and use the drop-down) or wait.
  • Upon killing the required amount your mission markers will update to three machines you must destroy. Thankfully large and hard to miss, keep in mind either a Thalak Beastmaster or pack of cyber mawvorrs will spawn whenever you break a machine, so be full health and ready to fight or run away before doing so.
  • Following all three machines breaking, you will be redirected to the “fire pit” (some crossed bones in the picture below) just outside the large cave. Upon using it the Champion enemy will appear with a pet Shaclaw. The Shaclaw can heal him, so kill it first before dealing with him. He has a knockback and interruptible spin attack.

[HEROIC 2+] Ancient Guardians

Empire only – Average phased heroic. No competition and one heavy hitting enemy type.

Tips

  • This Heroic takes place within the Old Paths, in a phased area along the south edge of the Lower Flamewood. The Heroic Transport Shuttle will drop you off right outside the phase, or you can take the very long way around from Fort Kodentha’s trail.
  • This mission includes a bonus to scan three tablets (pictured above) – the first two can be accessed during the first main objective of defeating 15 enemies (the droids and the shaclaws both count for this, seems to be another stealth-through prevention measure), and the final one is just beyond a force field.
  • Once your 15 kill objective is met, you must disable two force field terminals on either side of the 2nd tablet. The Droid Battlemasters by the 2nd terminal to destroy have a nasty area attack, so interrupt or move out of it quickly.
  • With the forcefield down, you can get the 3rd tablet for the bonus scanned, and then must either sneak past or defeat an Ancient Tomb Horror (A champion level vorantikus that does not come with the standard armor debuff attack, and is stunnable) to get to the Guardian of Dark History.
  • The Guardian has a casted missile attack that is interruptible, and summons two probes to help attack. Start with some area attacks of your own to clear out the probes and fight this champion like usual to clear the heroic.

[HEROIC 2+] Trial of the First / [HEROIC 2+] The First Commando’s Call

Republic (Trial of the First) /Imperial (The First Commando’s Call) – Harder mission, completable once per day per character

Tips

  • This Heroic takes place within the Shrine of Healing and can also be picked up there, just past the entrance.
  • If accepting the Heroic from the shuttle pad in Voss-Ka, step off the grey platform as it is technically part of the spaceport, then you may use your Heroic Shuttle mission item to teleport as normal.
  • The first groups of Commandos in the initial hallway are nothing special, usually silver enemies with one gold per pack, scouts can be interrupted, all can be stunned, or stealthed past.
  • After opening the door a cutscene will play, and then you must continue clicking the Pyre in the middle of the room to activate the next wave of attackers to defeat. Similar to the enemies in the hallway.
  • Feel free to rest in between waves. The voss in the room with you will turn hostile in waves, but won’t directly attack right away unless you walk up to them first.
  • The third wave is a Champion level Captain NPC by himself. He has a lot of attacks that can be interrupted – The most important is probably Unload, a channel that should be stopped as soon as it starts or it will deal high single target damage. Stunning the Bombardment attack may be useful as well – if you can’t stop Bombardment there will be a large red circle on the floor – this can kill you fast so stay out of it.
  • Upon lighting the pyre a 4th time you will fight another Champion NPC that’s a bit easier, but the cutscene will drop you right in front of him and start combat so be ready. His knockback attack, surge, can be interrupted and he is stunnable.
