We started off a little rough as there was a little misunderstanding about how to get the towels required for the trip, but once we had that figured out it was so much fun. - James1 contributionWe booked several tours through Richard and The Xtramile Tours during our stay in Puerto Aventuras. The tour was incredible, and Rich was amazing. It's worth every penny booking a private tour with him. He knows the best times to go to avoid the crowds. We had an entire Cenote to ourselves due to his planning. My elderly father went with us, and having the flexibility of a private tour was invaluable. - Mecca K1 contributionWe expected to see the ruins, go snorkeling, and swim in a cenote. We got that and so much more! Our guide was so caring and made sure everyone was accommodated and able to enjoy themselves. Highly recommend Ismael as the guide and Fabian as the driver! We were over an hour away and they still came to pick us up and Fabian navigated the busy streets with ease. A very unique experience!! It’s a must do! Alonzo was an INCREDIBLE guide, and Mattice was an amazing photographer!!! - AuntyJN. California43 contributionsThis experience takes you through a short hike in the jungle on your way down to the caverns. We walked and floated through the refreshingly cool, perfectly clear water with an able guide and photographer. We witnessed the immense stalactites and stalagmites all around us, the magnificent ancient formations were absolutely astounding. Our wonderful, knowledgable, kind (and thankfully strong) guide Mich and our photographer assisted each of us as needed. We were provided with wetsuits, lifejackets, water shoes, and helmets, as well as a tasty home cooked lunch after our cavern walk. We could not have asked for a better experience, our guide Mich patiently explained everything before and during our adventure, pointing out the wildlife we were seeing, and the ways we can help protect such treasures. Clearly Mich loves people, his job, and his country. - AMP7 contributionsWe had a wonderful private tour of Coba with Ulises and Carlos. The timing was perfect, we got to see the archeological site, swim in a Cenote, and eat at a local restaurant with no crowds. Ulises was super knowledgeable about the region and shared so much useful and interesting information.
