So this might be a pretty dumb question but I’m just super confused
So I ordered something from Hong Kong and it got dispatched last week. The tracking stopped at Royal Mail saying we’ve got it, so I’m assuming it is still in customs.
However I then had something dispatched from DHL in the EU that parcelforce collected, about the same time the other one arrived in the UK. This second parcel now is out for delivery with parcelforce after spending less than a day at Heathrow customs.
Is it possible parcelforce picked this up? I’m asking since the tracking number via dhl translates to parcelforce but I get a second tracking number saying no.1 is part of a consignment number.
Parcel 1 shouldn’t need a customs charge since parcel 2 didn’t and is valued higher than parcel 1. Neither are excise goods or gifts.
Am I crazy for thinking this? It just doesnt make sense one parcel is stuck in customs approaching a week whereas the other that arrived later and is probably more subject to customs stuff is now out for delivery?
