New transmit aerial - May 2024
| Some updated views of Chapel-en-le-Frith by Ringway Manchester. A new vertical appeared above the TX antenna for High Peak Radio (Now Greatest Hits Radio). What it does I can't be certain. The bracket has now been safely boxed in too. [Ed]. A comparison between the Feb 2024 version of Ofcom Tx Parameters and the Jan 2021 version show this site has gone from 70 Watts ERP directional to 40 Watts ERP non-directional. Therefore it seems that the pole (end fed dipole), at the top is now the Tx aerial. |
