A classic “nerd” trope is to give a character glasses and braces, but did you know that in animation, the combo exists more rarely than you'd think? Sure, Nickelodeon has some famous cartoon characters with glasses and braces - three of them redheads (two being Chuckie from Rugrats: All Grown Up, and Eliza from The Wild Thornberrys). However, beyond that you'll find a few anime options, such as the terrifying Big Madam from Tokyo Ghoul, and that's about it.
