It's an outfit that not everyone may like, and I specifically anticipated that with this piece. Its design is one not driven by high fantasy but pure horror. Perhaps on the fringes of abstract. This character would be more at home in a Silent Hill game than Elden Ring.
It's not at all what I set out to do, but once the pieces were together, my heart stopped. 😅

You ever encounter a particularly monstrous or horrifying enemy and think, "wow.. it would be so crazy if I could get to play as one of those."? That's the kind of vibe I have with this fit. You're not the hero anymore. You're not the savior. You are the big bad. The final boss. The monster.
The Grafted Scion, Revenant, Wraith Caller, Wormface, and even the Godskins come to mind, off the top of my head. =P
The context also matters. In this game particularly, with a mindset like that, this is the fit I would wear if I spent my time invading other players' worlds.
The minimum Faith requirement to cast Golden Vow is 25, but at 18 Faith you gain access to the Darkness Incantation... Invade a player. Set up a Grace Mimic. Lure your prey with loot; a Strip of White Flesh would be most thematic. Use Concealing Veil and Crepus's Vial for maximum effect.
If nothing else, you may scare the pants off your target so that they run themselves off a cliff, or sacrifice themselves out of pure respect. XD

I respect that! Since I'm mostly farming gear and exploring at this point until NG+, I usually make myself available to be summoned to help or in defense of other players. I have to admit, the multi-player aspects of the game are really freaking cool. Having the option to choose when or if you engage in it is an extremely unique experience that I love.
Oh can you give me any secrets or good gear to farm and look out for? I am in the same boat. I have a few talismans and gestures as well as rhe frenzy ending to get in a ng plus but kind of wanted to wait until the dlc

It's crazy to me how the coloration of these pieces blends together so fluidly.
I color matched the model's skin to the Godskin chest, which you can see in the exposed upper arms.
The mimicked skin tone of Malenia's prothetic greaves is almost a perfect match to the cloak portion of the Godskin chest. The image may not depict it well, but the greaves in particular closely resemble the Sword of Milos.
The sword introduces a different perspective on repurposed, weaponized flesh. In this context, you can't help but see the Astrologer Gloves as leathery, humanoid skin gloves.. it is sickening, but purposeful. lol
The chest, greaves, and even the sword also have a gold detailing that ties every single element together, and that tinge of gold makes the faint yellow of the Zamor mask's metal right at home in this piece.
Last thing and then I'll shut up. "XD The way the mask sits in the chest piece actually tames the long hair of the Zamor mask, and I LOVE that it does that. It turns the wig of the helm into this medium bob that I feel only adds to the disturbingly creepy factor of this look.
I am genuinely horrified, but the allure is undeniable.

Side note: most of my looks have been on Body Type B models (I think Dung-Sworn and the Pit Fighter are my only Type A fits). Maybe it's a matter of personal taste, although I can't say I'm testing the A vs B bodies with every fit. But generally speaking, I tend to favor the equipment fit on Type B over A. I want to say that the gear is.. less bulky?
Historically, I also favor playing female characters, for no apparent reason. lol Maybe they're just more fun to dress up! :D
It's nearly the exact opposite for me. I find myself preferring Type A more often than not. But I do agree that on Type B tends to have less bulk. I often find myself having to push the body sliders all the way down with Type A.
Though most of my male character tends to heavily lean towards having feminine qualities. We all develop our sense of aesthetic for our characters and run with it lol!
Right, exactly! Almost any one of my outfits could look similarly on Type A, but you'd have to take most of the sliders down to the minimum. I suppose all I'm really doing is cutting out the slider work. A lot of the helmets I like to use cover the face, so the model has minimal impact.

I wish the Godskin stuff looked cooler. Their weapons and incantations look so awesome and then all their armor looks like total shit to me.
Their armor is definitely unusual, especially compared to everything else in game. I don't know.. The sets are kind of weird, but they're weird. Lol
If you're specifically looking to work with their gear for some Godskin flavor/inspiration, you've definitely got options for ways to incorporate them.
It might make for a fun challenge to create what you envision as a Godskin without using their gear at all, too.
If you're open to suggestions or looking for inspiration, I highly recommend this post by u/daywithoutend. They took the Godskin concept to epic new heights, IMO.
