Lana Lawton, a fledgling private eye home for the holidays, realizes the only way to save her career is by solving a string of local burglaries where the main suspect is Santa Claus. The Christmas Thief- this movie is messy and tries to do alot of things but when it is being cheeky I enjoyed it. Nobody has ever eaten more bacon in a movie or used more holiday infused legal jargon in a movie and I was laughing. Plus the lead is super hot. Enough for me
This man looks like budget Matt Ryan, but the stubble and the voice are doing it for me. Even if hes a pig. The stake out scene was cute and I did love her getting his confession by tricking him with his own surveillance device.

I think my brain died while watching this. The acting is not great, the plot isn’t dumb per se but everything that went on was. This movie looks cheap, and the audio was atrocious. Nobody noticed there was a sound issue? Like did they just think it was good enough as is? Throw it in the dumpster and don’t look back.
The guilty party was obvious, nearly from the beginning. How could you not be suspicious of someone whose hair looks like that?
I liked the cast and the plot but I had a hard time paying attention to this one.
worst Christmas movie I’ve ever seen. resolution changes throughout the film, audio switches editing and goes incredibly low-fidelity sometimes. acting was horrendous, sets were really bad. only reason i stuck it out was because it was filmed partially in my hometown. apparently they refused to pay people after production in some scenes though, so bad production company too.
What happens when you have the adult version of Lady Shazam trying to catch a Christmas thief? You get a decent little Christmas movie that has some romance vibes but also some entertaining moments.
This was straight up TV Christmas Mystery B Movie... but I was entertained, even if I figured it out early in 🤷🏼♀️ But I always enjoy PI/Cop investigative hijinks.
