The Purge movies ranked from first to worst

5th Place: The First Purge. By far the worst one. It's not terrible but it's not incredible either. The main villian who tried murder people at the party was cool but it was kinda stupid. Didn't explain how all these racist groups just suddenly got there.

4th place: The Purge Anarchy. This one was certainly a good one. I enjoyed it. It had moments were it was slow. But certainly an interesting movie. This one is honestly more of a personal preference more than anything. I can see others having it as their favorite though.

3rd place: The Forever Purge. Despite the forever purgers not being well it's explained everything else about this movie is great. Their journey to Mexico was certainly entertaining. Also the horror elements were definitely pumped in this movie. With the enemies being tense and very big threats.

2nd Place: The Purge. The Purge is honestly classic. I love this movie. The charcters are made so well. Max is one of my favorite charcters in the series. The way he's against the Purge is so much more interesting than anybody else. The suspenseful elements are also really good. Edwin is an interesting piece of the story we're you see we're the Dad is coming from but also Max. That element alone gave the movie a leg up over a lot of the purges.

1st Place: The Purge: Election Year. This movie is honestly great. It's suspenseful factor and it's effects are amazing. The senator and Leo make a fun duo in this movie. Also the pro purgers are crazy and psychotic and I love it. The movie was honestly badass. It's a ridiculously fun watch.

Election Year is my favorite too. I like the others but none have lived up to that one for me. I think the series as a whole is better when it leans in to the action element. Which is funny because I usually prefer straight up horror to action by a lot, but the action just works really well with this concept. I also really like Anarchy because of this. Have you watched the tv series yet?

Not yet. Meet the blacks?

Forever purge was kinda cheeks to be honest. Just random violence, not much of a plot

I wouldn't say that. I mean I like the fact that they only had a certain amount of time to get to Mexico

Fair enough

I don't like Election Year for the fact that the white woman gets saved by a bunch of black folk martyring themselves for her. Why did she have to be white? Cry me a river. Especially since they keep making Purge movies. Useless ending in my opinion. The only saving grace that movie got from me was Leo coming back.

Are you seriously complaining about a charcters race?

Considering it was the theme of half the plot. Yes, a crip whistle saved them? Why not bring back the daughter from anarchy and make her the presidential candidate and all the people from the hood rise up to make sure she wins at all cost. Why did it have to be a fragile white woman who needed everyone to carry her and martyr themselves for her. She claimed that she didn't want her campaign to be founded on murder but she gladly jeopardized many poor folk just to make sure she lived. The same poor folk she claimed were most affected by the purge. How is it wrong for them to be purged but not to be sacrificed for her campaign? Seems hypocritical.

How did all the racist groups get there, you ask?

It’s set in Staten Island.
