Nestled in a prime location, the Belvedere Hotel Dublin delights guests with its cleanliness and modern amenities, including spotless bathrooms and rooms that many find spacious. While some guests celebrate the friendly staff and a good breakfast, others have experienced issues with customer service. The proximity to Dublin's city center is a highlight, offering easy access to urban attractions while retaining a quiet, safe environment. However, opinions on value and room experiences vary, with certain travelers questioning the pricing and encountering maintenance issues. Despite this, the hotel's atmosphere, particularly on Irish entertainment nights, is often described as inviting.

Stayed here for the second time during the week. Our first stay we had a stunning newly refurbished room on the lower floor and this time we were a little disappointed with our room on the 3rd floor. Carpet was worn and grubby, there was a stain on one of the pillows and the toilet didn’t flush correctly in the bathroom. The room was also tiny. On our first stay we had a coffee machine but this time just a kettle without even a biscuit as you would find on most tea stations in hotel. The area is very central but I wouldn’t recommend walking around at night alone. We didn’t avail of dinner/breakfast unfortunately so I can’t comment on that. Staff are lovely. Public areas very nice and modern. I will definitely stay again and book a refurbed room again next time

The staff is quite friendly, and the hotel is beautiful and tidy. The front desk staff members were really kind and constantly greeted us with a big grin and positive vibes. The restaurant crew is subject to the same rules.
located in a quiet neighborhood but close to bars, shopping, and the bustle of the city.

Says recently refurbished. We must have been on the floor that hadn’t been refurbished. Tired rooms and hallway. Very disappointed. And for the price it was very bad. We also were really hot in the room however couldn’t open the window because of the noise from some fan or generator.

We stayed here for a couple of nights during the Six Nations. It's a really lovely hotel, the rooms are spacious, and the rooms are big, with nice bathrooms and the decor is really nicely done. The bed was massive, staff are polite and friendly, we stayed on a B & B basis - the breakfast was good, buffet style with a choice of hot and cold options. It's in a great location for shopping and bars.

We stayed at The Belvedere for 3 nights on a couples break. The hotel is really modern and has a nice bar and restaurant. The staff are friendly and the location is great if you don’t mind a little walk. It’s about 15-20 minutes to temple bar and all the main attractions are in walking distance. Overall great value for money and we would return.

Stayed in this beautiful hotel last week with my Partner and daughter. Our check in was fast and without problem. Receptionist was lovely. Stayed in room 145 and I have to say it was so spacious and had been recently renovated. Room and bathroom were clean and spotless. Staff were all very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Got chatting to a lovely wee barman but didn't get his name Breakfast was delicious and plenty of variety Hotel was central to city centre and near shops. The only negative was we had got Dublin passes which we couldn't really use because most places needed booked due to covid, but this wasn't something the hotel had control over . Will definitely stay here again.

I stayed at the Belvedere for one night in October while on a tour with Intrepid Travel. Since I stayed in Dublin for a few days after the tour, I know the hotel rooms are expensive. However, I would recommend looking for other options if possible. This hotel was fine for one night, but it needs to be updated.

My room was on the third floor and faced a brick wall. This was fine, however, since I could leave my window open to get fresh air. Otherwise, the room had little air circulation. There was no air conditioning in the room, and the weather was warm. It would’ve been too hot to sleep at night without the window open. Luckily, it was still quiet enough due to my room’s location.

As I said, the rooms need to be updated – or at least the one in which I stayed. The carpet was old and felt dirty. There was a step up to go to the bathroom, and I tripped on it in the middle of the night despite the “Mind the Step” sign. The room smelled a bit musty. The bedding was too heavy for the weather, and there was no sheet.

We arrived around noon and were informed the rooms weren’t ready, which we expected. We asked to store luggage and went on a long walk throughout Dublin. When we returned around three hours later, our luggage was still in the same place in the lobby, unsecured. Staff were not very friendly.

VERY friendly staff and seamless check in! We chatted with the bartender for ten lovely minutes and felt so welcomed by everyone. They also had great covid measures with spacing, cleanliness, and mask wearing. I would exclusively stay here whenever I’m back in Dublin!

Lovely hotel in the heart of Dublin. Rooms are well done. Only issue we encountered was the young folks hired to work in bar and restaurant who have a lot to learn about customer service. This hotel has a good breakfast bar. Note it is a busy hotel so don’t plan to check in before 3p.

Stayed here with friends last week. Hotel was lovely modern and spacious. We have a double and single bed room which was ample enough for 3 people. Staff were very lovely. The only issue we had was there was only two Nespresso cups in the room for 3 people, and if we wanted tea there was no cups for this. We did ask for one cup for the tea. However one of the Nespresso cups was heavily tea/coffee stained so needed cleaning before use. I feel if they know how many people are staying in the room then the room should be equipped for them. Overall the hotel was lovely.
