Susan Ford Obituary
FORD Susan Ford, age 63, passed away Friday, July 8, 2011 at Riverside Hospital. Worked over 30 years in the MRDD community; generous to a fault and an animal lover. Parents David and Frances Ford. Survived by brothers, Richard T. Ford and David J. (Frances) Ford. Family requests no services. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Capital Area Humane Society.

I, too, share condolences with Sue's brothers and with everyone--her friends, coworkers, and the many persons with disabilities--whose lives Sue brightened and made easier. Sue had a big heart. In more than 30 years of devotion to clients of Goodwill Columbus Supported Living and in other programs and in her work as Sunday School teacher and Director of Special Ministries at St. Luke's Methodist Church on 5th Avenue in Grandview, Sue gave a lot of light and a lot of love.

I am so sorry to hear of Susie's passing. We have lost touch over the years, but she has never been far from my mind. I have very fond memories of her. My prayers and most heartfelt sympathies to all of her family.
