Cincinnati Reviews
Rating 4.13 out of 5 843 reviews
Cincinnati is a good place to live and raise a family. However, Cincinnati has seen many changes in the last couple of decades Some have been good, and some have been bad. City government and investors have ruined many good part suburban areas around the city and have failed too completely fulfill the promises of a better inner city. There have been promises to rebuild the inner-city areas and, in the process, they have displaced transferred many people out of the city into the eastern, western, and central northern suburbs. Areas that once were successful business districts have become crime ridden, business-less, and strained. Property values have doubled and tripled, yet the infrastructure in these areas is severely outdated. Streets, roads and avenues are carrying five times more traffic than they were designed for. Inner city problems were transferred to once nice well-kept neighborhoods. Homelessness, drugs and other problems due to mismanagement and greed have caused the decline
I love Cincinnati! I moved here right before my freshman year of high school, so the move was definitely a major adjustment and life changing. This being said, I found an amazing neighborhood and church community which helped give me lifelong friends. My grandparents live here as well, and we moved in with them when my parents got divorced. I am very thankful to have a loving family and community in Cincinnati.
I think the best part of Cincinnati is the fact there is so much culture here. Everywhere you look there's a different restaurant or something of that sort, where you can experience traditions of your own, or even another culture. I think the downfall of Cincinnati is the crime, which is something that desperately needs to be fixed.
