Very disappointed with this. Waited ages on pre-order. Lavish gatefold but bad scratches on side 1 track 2 and then side 2 track 1 with both lasting six revolutions despite vinyl looking absolutely pristine. On last track on side 2 needle just sticks in the same groove repeating endlessly until you manually move the needle in two different places. There is intermittent crackle throughout. This pressing is just garbabe. So fed up of paying a fortune for "premium" product like this that turns out to be total trash

UPDATE: Bought a HumminGuru ultrasonic cleaner and put both LPs through "Deep cleanse" three times. Hasn't made a ha'porth worth of difference. Crap vinyl. Avoid!

I have a copy with a red front cover, with the same runout, same sleeve (embossed)

A few interesting (and very obviously wrong) lyrics for the 2nd LP printed on the inner liner...(laughing emoji)
          Lovely pressing tho!

Tracks D1 and D2 are vinyl only it seems, they are not on the 2CD Deluxe issue. At the same time, track 1-15 from the CD is not replicated on this vinyl Deluxe edition.

I bought this Communards 'Red' 2CD and also Bronski Beat 'The Age of Consent' back in 2012 for £9.21 in Amazon UK. Both copies didn't bring the Rhino logo that can be seen in the images provided. Odd. Does anybody know if the first double editions all came this way?
Great packages with great bonus tracks! Highly recommended!

I have this, but its a Promotional Copy Not For Resale version, with a booklet included containing a press release, a print of the band, a sticker and two postcards. All in immaculate condition.

Worth getting as it contains some truly great music. The soaring but melancholic 'For A Friend' is a wistful synth pop masterwork. 'TMT love TBMG' is pure pop confection with a meaningful lyric. The production and arrangements on this are much more complex than the first album.
You can get this LP for very little money, so what are you waiting for?

Bad decision to include "Matter of opinion" and "Hold on tight". The album would be long enough without them, and those songs are so bland that they taint the rest of the album, which is a shame as the other songs are very good.
