Summary
This will be a retelling of the Star Vs The Forces of Evil story, with Marco as the main viewpoint character. I will be maintaining most events as they happened originally in the show, with a few changes to better fit an M rating (mostly teens being actual teens rather than Disney teens) as well as removing what plot holes I can, inconsistencies, and generally adjusting when some events happen to better reflect what I feel would actually happen. Some big changes I plan involve Marcos reaction to his 16 years with Hekapoo, Stars introduction to Earth culture, and the events leading to the Wand being cleaved.

Marco gave up everything for Star. His home on Earth, the friends he's made, and even his first girlfriend. But staying on Mewni hadn't been what he had expected it to be. His offer to become a knight had been meaningless, Mewni mocked and harassed him as a whole, and the days of loneliness he felt only increased as he spent less and less time with Star.
But even as he slowly pieced together that his time on Mewni had ruined the previously happy life he had on Earth, he still felt like he had to stay. He had to be there for his best friend, he had to be there for the girl he loved even if she was with her own lover. Even when staying felt miserable, even if it felt like he had no place in the kingdom he had helped save, he had to stay, for Star's sake. To be ready to help ease whatever burden she has, even if it was clear that Tom did all that for her.
But Star did need him, right? Otherwise... what was he even doing here?
