Really impressed with the restaurant, food was packed with flavour and beautifully presented, fabulous drinks, great service. Probably the best Italian weve been to in East Yorkshire! Five stars from us and we'll definitely be returning.

The staff at Carluccio’s were friendly and welcoming at every stage. We all had dietary requirements or needs and these were fully met. Our dishes were tasty too! Thank you for a lovely meal :)

Great service, we ordered a pizza which was v good, thought the burger and chips was expensive for what there was-it was very basic.

As always the food was excellent! It was very busy so had to wait a bit too long for a drink. Food was served quickly. A bit too noisy for me because it was so busy but still had a lovely evening.

Took my daughter and partner for tea on Tuesday evening, the restaurant was perfect the food was amazing our server Isobel (I think) was soooo lovely we enjoyed the restaurant and I would definitely recommend and go back

Food was average, had a table reservation for 7:30pm, arrived shortly before that time, waited about 10minutes to even be seen to, to then be told they didn’t have a table ready for us yet, so we didn’t get our table until around 7:50pm. When we got seated the service was very slow, and staff were not very attentive, we had to wait around 15 minutes to be offered a drink and then about another 15 minutes to receive our drinks.

Absolutely fantastic food, the lobster and crab black tortellini was unbelievably delicious. A lovely young man was our waiter and he was superb a credit to the restaurant.

Lively ambience let down by mediocre food. Unripe and cold tomatoes with the bruschetta. Lack of salad dressing on rocket accompaniments. Overcooked and dry Milanese chicken. Average tasting Bolognaise. Food delivered too quickly between courses. Staff are friendly and professional.

Staffing levels were not as high as usual in the restaurant and I assume same in the kitchen because the service was not as slick as usual. Drinks did not arrive until after the starter arrived and only came after the server went to check.

We went on a quiet Monday night and the waiting staff absolutely had that lazy Monday night attentiveness. I am gluten free and normally like to have lunch/breakfast here. First time for a meal and the starter was absolute rubbish - Tomato bruchetta - a slice of GF toast and a ton of tomatoes. There is much better GF bread products than what was offered here. I had GF polenta cake - stale and tasted old

Had a lovely meal. The food was lovely and the service was excellent and the staff were very professional. I’d been a few days earlier when there were a number of inexperienced staff with no one obviously in charge, which was disappointing so it was good to know the usual good service was still there.

Quite chilly, we had to ask for heating to go up. Waiter was very good. Puddings were cold, had to ask for them to be warmed up. Food was good.

Georgia was lovely she looked after us, she balanced friendly contact and leaving us to enjoy our time as a couple. The food was lovely it was a pity the tuna was not available the one downside I often find when visiting that there is normally 1 or 2 items not not available and normally one of us pick the item!

January discount tempted us back into Carluccio’s. Reasonably good turnout for the time of year and with plenty of competition around. Very pleasant experience all round - service, food and wine very good.
