The Department of Justice has filed a lawsuit against Live Nation, owner of Ticketmaster, for illegally inflating ticket prices to live events saying the two should be broken up for fairness. The lawsuit accuses Live Nation, also a large owner of concert venues, of forcing those venues to only host Live Nation talent while charging outrageous ticket prices, service fees and just access to the most popular shows. With presidential debates set to take place in June and September, months earlier than the normal October debates, third-party candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is hustling to get on ballots across the nation in order to qualify for the stage. CNN has said that they would host Kennedy Jr. for their June 27 debate if he hit benchmarks in polling, but his campaign has been critical of the difficulty of getting on some states' ballots. Communication Director for the Robert F. Kennedy Jr. campaign, Del Bigtree, joins the Rundown to discuss the roadblocks they’ve encountered in gaining ballot access, how RFK Jr.'s presence on the debate stage could impact the election, and the larger goals of his campaign. The U.S. military is now confirming that two men, found to have been present illegally inside the United States, having crossed the border from Mexico, tried to gain access to the Marine Corps Base Quantico in Virginia.
