Where We Go From Here

Funny, sweet, and packed with heat, WHERE WE GO FROM HERE is a must-read small town romance!

Harper Ray cannot leave Los Angeles fast enough. If it wasn’t for the end to her first and only serious relationship then those glaringly obvious family issues would’ve done the trick. It’s a stroke of luck that her real-estate mogul mom could use an on-site supervisor at the Pine Hills renovation, because Harper is one-hundred percent in the market for a change of scenery... and it looks like she might be about to get more than she bargained for.

Mitchell Coleson has just got the biggest job of his career. He’s leading a full reno of Pine Hills and if the job is executed perfectly then the tycoons at the head of the small-town vacay-conglomerate will be set to permanently make him their go-to fixer-upper. There’s only one a big distraction has just checked in and she’s ready to make herself a full-time resident.

this had so much potential, especially in the beginning but it just went downhill. i just didn’t enjoy this, i didn’t like some of the things mitch was saying it gave me the ick, and whole thing about his son seemed so last minute and like an after thought. i felt the chemistry between harper and mitch in the beginning/middle and i really really enjoyed half of this book but i disliked the ending a lot

one of the worst books i’ve ever read 🫶🏻🫶🏻

i couldn’t look away like a train wreck.

the best part of this was the authors mention of mitch’s insane testosterone levels every sentence and his pheromones. this book was insane.

One of my favorites of the year 😍

This book gave me all the feels! It has all of my favorite tropes, and seriously had me giggling and kicking my feet. Mitchell is the sweetest little grumpy, cinnamon roll, and I really loved the fact that they were both so obsessed with each other. And that Harper really let herself fall in this relationship. I wish we got a scene with the sister, but overall this was such a sweet, low stakes romance.

I really enjoyed this book. It was a quick read and a sort of palate cleanser for me.

Harper just went through some challenging things in her life.

Because of that, she goes to one of her parent`s properties that is being renovated so she can get some space from her life and a much-needed blank page to know how to move forward.

What I loved about this book is how the author was able to write Mitch. He is a man who has the alpha straits but also shows insecurities. He is such a cinnamon roll MMC, and I LOVED to reach his POV.
He was the kind of man who wanted a real relationship, not just a casual thing with her and wanted to make it clear to her.

This is a really quick read, and I would recommend it as a palate cleanser because it doesn`t go deep into their relationship or anything like that. The author does a good job of showing where it will lead, and it makes us paint a picture of their lives and how they are going to be after the book, but I would have liked to read about them together more.
It was a good book to read after so many mafias, second chances, dark romances, etc.

- Cinnamon roll MMC
- Sassy FMC
- Single dad, his kid is an adult already
- Romance
- Small town
- Dual POV

2.75⭐️This book disappointed me to be honest. I’ve like other books by Sapphire, but this was very meh in comparison to others I’ve read. I think the first part of the book was good and had a lot of potential. There was some tension, trying not to let the other person know you’re keen. Than suddenly they’re together and the plot got lost. It didn’t feel that genuine when they had a lot of they serious talks during spicy time. Don’t get me wrong, I love me some spice, but I would’ve like it a lot better if those talks and the spice was separate.
I didn’t feel like I was reading about two grown ups, they both felt a little immature in my opinion. I know his son is older, but I felt like he got lost in the story. We got a couple of scenes where he was featured, but it would’ve been nice to see more of their dynamic instead of just hearing about it.

Nevertheless, I did enjoy it but it truly had much more potential!

4.5 ⭐️

I loved this book and i was kicking my feet like a blushing school girl!!!!!!!! 🤌🤌

Mitch and Harper were soooo fucking cute ☺️ The age gap was tasteful (in a weird way).
He was 39 (and turned 40) and she was 28.

Overall it was great. I loved the small town vibes as well as the rural Montana 🌲 🏔️ vibes. I’m glad the mum was likeable and we didn’t have to meet the sister.

It was strange having Mitch’s son be so old, I guess they have to grow up at some point. I wish Mitch and his were a little younger, even if it was 5 years.

There was no 3rd act breakup which was brilliant, and all in all they were great!!! (Can you tell I’m exhausted while writing this??)

It was fine the tension at the beginning/middle of the book was great. But after they get together why are they having all of their meaningful/important conversations during sex? They got together, it became porn with plot and then suddenly ended. A great mindless read and I don’t mind porn with plot sometimes but I wanted more.

It's a decent read. Smooth flowing, sugary sweet with too good to be a true hero. He is physically strong and mentally mature, doesn't overshadow the female and at the same time manages to take care of her. Just 1 glitch, why show him extremely wealthy at the end. It didn't make sense nor was that plot needed. Money wasn't a plot concern, why make it in the end.

It was a good small town romance it was just too short for my liking. There was good character development but i didn’t like the fact that Mitch was so old having a child with a younger woman like that. And how in the world does a condom break twice?? that doesn’t make much sense. there’s definitely something else going on. But overall it was a quick, okay read.

This was too fast-paced, one minute their hooking up and the next they are in love, pregnant and want to get married?
The MMC was overly possessive, i don't mind this in some books but in this one, it really annoyed me.
The FMC was okay, her character was a bit boring though.
Yeah i did not like this very much.

where even was the plot? The emotion? The character development? it felt like a book driven solely by lust & spice, when there was so much potential for something greater. if you’re into that though, you might really like this book.

A cute romance book but it felt a bit too insta love for me! I preferred the first two books as the relationships had more of a backstory and the romance was built over time. Their interactions were cute however but I also did have a soft spot for Mitchell already!

Quick, to the point and sets the plot up really fast. I enjoyed it very much for this reason and would read again. Harper wasn’t an annoying protagonist and was just fine. Mitchell knew how to love her 🤌

This book was a really fun book to read. I absolutely loved that there was no break up at all between Mitchell and Harper. I absolutely loved that they start dating and there aren’t really any major problems that appear when they just start being together or towards the end of the book.

Meh. This was fine I guess. Writing was ass and I’ll be happy to never see the word “whilst” ever again. Parts of this were really cute and other parts gave me the ick lol. Can’t say I swooned at all 😂

This was my first book by sapphire and i randomly found it but it was satisying its a mid slow burn small town romance .
Just go for it you will not regret it . And if you like your mmc jealous and possessive this book doesn't fall into that category its a soft man romance book

The experience was great, the writing was definitely something, but I had a good time reading it. Some of the things he said cracked me up, like the boss kink 😭. Also, I read the first book and then read this one not knowing they were connected till it mentioned his son.

I really struggled to get up to the 50% of this book.. and I just stopped after that. The plot had so so much potential but for some reason the main characters were acting like teenagers even though she was 28 and he was around 40???? I mean???? It was uncomfortable and cringy at least
