Dove Cameron and Damiano David's Relationship Timeline

Dove Cameron and Damiano David are putting their love in the spotlight. 

The couple first confirmed their relationship in February and have stepped out together a few times since.

Most recently, they attended the Met Gala as a duo, posing together on the red carpet. The “Boyfriend” singer wore a floral gown and smiled happily with her Måneskin frontman beau, who wore a sheer suit that showed off his many tattoos. 

The duo first sparked dating rumors back in September 2023, a few months after David had announced his split from his long-term girlfriend Giorgia Soleri.

Cameron, meanwhile, was previously linked to her Descendants costar Thomas Doherty. After meeting on the set of the Disney Channel film, they dated for almost four years before Cameron confirmed their breakup in December 2020.

September 2023: Dove Cameron and Damiano David spark dating rumors 

Cameron and David first sparked dating rumors in September 2023, when the “Breakfast” singer was spotted attending one of his concerts at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The outing came a few months after David confirmed he was no longer in a relationship with Giorgia Soleri.

He announced their split shortly after he was spotted kissing a mystery woman. "I am very sorry this video came out, it was not how I wanted to handle the situation and it was my mistake," he reportedly wrote on his Instagram Stories.

David continued, writing that he and Soleri had broken up several days ago and there had been "no betrayals of any kind." He added, "I hope this doesn't affect Giorgia's image and that you can respect the delicacy of this moment.” 

November 4, 2023: Dove Cameron attends Damiano David’s concert in Brazil

In early November 2023, Cameron and David were seen leaving his concert in Brazil together, according to photos obtained by Just Jared. The two kept things low-key as they made their way out of the venue and slipped into a car. 

November 28, 2024: Dove Cameron and Damiano David share a kiss in Australia 

As dating rumors flew, Cameron and David were spotted showing PDA at Bondi Beach amid his band's Sydney tour. In photos obtained by The Daily Mail, the couple was seen holding hands as they walked along the beach before cuddling up for a kiss. 

January 24, 2024: Dove Cameron and Damiano David grab dinner together 

Cameron and David continued to date back stateside. In photos obtained by Just Jared, Cameron was seen linking arms with the rocker as they had a dinner date with friends in Los Angeles. 

February 3, 2024: Dove Cameron and Damiano David make their red carpet debut as a couple 

Cameron and David went public with their romance in early February, making their red carpet debut as a couple at Clive Davis' annual Pre-Grammy Gala with a steamy kiss from the cameras.

February 4, 2024: Dove Cameron and Damiano David attend W Magazine party

The two stepped out together again the following night at W Magazine, Mark Ronson, and Gucci's Grammys afterparty at Bar Marmont in Los Angeles. The couple wore coordinating looks for the event, including Cameron in a white two-piece and David in a white button-down and black suit.

February 6, 2024: Dove Cameron goes Instagram official with Damiano David

Days after attending their first public event together, Cameron discreetly went Instagram official with David. As she posted a number of photos of her at the Grammy gala, she included a sweet snapshot of David carrying her heels. He also commented on the photo with a red heel and kiss emoji.  

February 13, 2024: Dove Cameron and Damiano David attend a Los Angeles Lakers game

Cameron and David kept the cute appearances coming in February when they were spotted courtside at a a Los Angeles Lakers game. David wrapped his arm around Cameron’s shoulder, and Cameron smiled at him as the two chatted throughout the game.

May 6, 2024: Dove Cameron and Damiano David attend the Met Gala together 

Cameron and David made their Met Gala debut as a couple in May 2024. Cameron wore a floral gown while David donned a sheer suit that showed off his tattoos. The event marked Cameron’s second Met Gala after attending the event in 2022, and David’s very first time at the event.
