What is the best part of working at the company? Thanks to the organization, we were able to pick items in numerical order, streamlining the process and avoiding unnecessary backtracking. Very nice management and cafeteria was awesome tooas well. What is the most stressful part about working at the company?Would get backed up with too many people picking orders in the Isles. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? It was good no issues there in my opinion What is a typical day like for you at the company?Fast paced welcoming but tiring

Awful. Just awful.

What is the best part of working at the company? It's dirty, demanding, and repetitive. I absolutely hated every minute of working in that environment. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? The job itself. You are held to a certain standard and even though the job seems easy, it's not that easy. What is the work environment and culture like at the company?Very isolating, very every man for themself. What is a typical day like for you at the company? You clock in, go to your locker, get your equipment, go get your scanner, and make sure you clock in on time.

A place of favoritism and an unreasonable number system

It's all about who they like and it's not based on who is a hard worker. They seem to be about all the foreigners, they get the higher numbers and just who they like but needless to say if you're not a foreigner and if they just don't like your appearance even though you are hard worker you're numbers go down and and it doesn't matter how hard you put effort into it. Another thing the system is on the blink at times and they won't fix your numbers

Not good

Over worked and under paid. Does not give raises. The only real raise was across the board as a Covid raise for all. They pick and chose their favorites to get the easier work

It use to be good

This use to be a good company. Now they work you crazy overtime. Treat some people good but if they don't like you forget it. This was a great company to work for before they opened e-commerce. They did not put this together to run efficiently.

Pros

Vacation time

Cons

To much overtime. No consistency in any rules. Favoritism by management.

Rampant Nepotism

AVP had an anger management problem. Work was engaging and rewarding, but I’d never go back to working for the AVP. The company provided mediocre benefits when I worked there.

Enjoyable workplace

This was a great job for young tech professionals. The environment was supportive. The big boss is extremely motivating. This company makes you want to do well. Expectations are high and when the calls speed up it is a madhouse. There is great communication that makes you feel comfortable, but performance/stats are always the priority. The greatest thing about this place is the building. There is a wonderful dining area full of options. If you move up high enough in the company, I hear there is a gym.

Pros

Good training, helpful environment

Cons

Stressful at times, long shifts

Fast paced job.

Picking in my opinion requires way too much walking. I tried different shoes and still was limping out of there at the end of the day with blisters on my feet. They want you to hit certain numbers which are almost impossible to do unless you’re running through the aisles. Packing was the best part of the job but you rarely get to do it. The best part was the fact that they play music all day.

Pros

Hours, and benefits.

Cons

Too much walking, not much leadership.

High turn over rate

I was apart of the research and development team for the ASCENA service desk and it seemed like every week an employee was submitting their letter of resignation. Everyone from entry level service desk agents to higher management. Eventually the “head” of RnD also resigned and I was relegated to the service desk as an agent to take calls. I promptly resigned as well.

This IT department is great- for teh most part

My management was incredible. I had a VP that was back after trying retirement. She was the best. My manager under her was empowered and worked hard for his teams. One of the best jobs I've had. Can't say the same for other groups.

Pros

Great mangement backing. Good quality work and failrly innovative.

Cons

Pillred and somewhat difficult to get some things done, when managers disagreed.

Work environment was not fair

I was off due to COVID 19 suppose to return back June 1st before, I was planning to head back HR told me that they would discontinue my FMLA. “ I been there for 2 years” Due to the fact I’m not Psychic to know when both of my child is ill. This is something my kids Dr and My case manager decided what works best for myself and my kids.

Pros

None

Cons

A lot of this.

no communication

I worked for the company for 6 years and have applied for many advancements and was always given the dumbest reasons why I didn't get it. They do not communicate very well. The work wasn't hard and people were nice. Its not a bad company just needs to focus on making a more pleasant environment to be in.

I feel included in important decisions and projects that affect the company

As a member of the management staff, I feel empowered to mentor our team on best practices and guide on important elements of our team's work, such as, contract negotiations, supplier management, and tactful communications (to internal stakeholders and outside suppliers).

Great start

This was my first role in help. desk schedule is 4 day on 3 off and 10 hour days. training really set me up to succeed at work. the hardest part for me was getting used to systems, but you gotta understand it take s time. over all it was a great experience.

Fun place to work.

As this is a fun place to work for it is also innovative and they encourage growth opportunities for all employees. I loved working here, the work environment was aweaome.

Nice warehouse

Constant need to stay busy unless the overall warehouse is low on work. Had a nice cafeteria with hot foods for breakfast and lunch. Easy to learn the system

Unstable company preparing to outsource to India

Workplace culture is steeply declining in quality. The driving force, the call center, is considered "non-revenue creating" and is criminally underpaid and overworked. They make barely more than minimum wage and are expected to be subject matter experts on nearly all software and hardware used by brands. My belief is that the company plans to outsource to India. The process has already begun.

Management is clueless

It’s not a bad place to work , but management doesn’t have a clue what they are doing . There is no room for advancement , the incentive pay is a joke , the raises are a joke . Some part time people are paid $1 more on the hour than everyone else . They make you double stack heavy cases ( big safety issue ) You can make your numbers unless the system messes up then you lose your job .

Relaxing environment

Has great people to work with, calming and relaxing environment, holidays/sales events are the busiest, request lifting things and pulling carts, you can be trained in multiple areas.
