A wonderful & unforgettable fellow who was also born in the winter of '51 and moved to Los Angeles from the Chicago area. Enjoyed playing in the West LA Little League w. him, his Dad being a fine coach and his Mom there every weekend to root them both on. He ran cross country in high school, was active in senior class event planning and then 'ran off' (in the best sense of the phrase) to Oregon with the best of them. Will always associate Eugene, OR with him, as will 100s of other West Coasters!

I only wish I'd gotten to meet you in person, we became friends because I met Linda on FB, as we both love our ducks...and thinking of you all...and Rio, too! Hope you're eating lots of chocolate chip cookies!!!!

Robert is my soulmate. He was so full of life, energy, love of all people and the most fair, non-judgmental human being I have ever met. He loved life, people and music. He was your friend for life. He always had a smile and a laugh for everyone. Robert was charming and well versed on many subjects, especially history, politics and music. He was also the only drummer I have ever heard of that didn't like to do drum solos and that kind of explains Robert, unique. A part of me died the day he passed and life will never be the same without Robert in my life. I miss him so much. Knowing Robert and being a part of his life for 24 years was an honor and the happiest days of my life. Rest in peace.

Rest in Peace, Robert. Your positive attitude and smile will be missed. Thinking of Linda and family, sending prayers and thoughts their way.

Loved my brother! Can't imagine this world without him. He sure knew how to make me laugh and make me mad all at the same time :)

Soon when this prayer becomes a reality, we will never have to suffer such a loss again. You were and always will be our Bongo Bob. You showed us all that it was OK to march to the beat of a different drummer. You were always sincere, loving, intense, caring, selfless, and basically a real fun loving guy! Our condolences to Linda, may you find the strength to cope with this terrible loss. Bobby was always so full of life. He was the one that when challenges arose he just smiled and optimistically knew that there was a solution out there somewhere that he could tap into. I can see him now energetically playing his drums all the time beaming his joy. I will miss his fine nature and inticing goodness and he will undoubtably be sorely missed. Jane and I send our love to Linda and everyone else who cherished Bob.

You truly found your soulmate in Robert, so I know that your heart is aching every minute of every day as you miss his presence in your life. So sorry for your loss. I didn't know him personally but got a sense of his fun loving spirit from Linda's communications. My sincerest condolences to all his family and friends.
